Contrary to popular belief, so do I. I love her like a sister.

Okay. The guy I'm already interested in is a werewolf. We've been BFFs our whole lives and I'm pretty sure he's interested in me, too. Jake and Edward hate each other, so choosing Jake would kill two birds with one stone. It must be so cool to have a brother.

I love efficiency. Besides, being friends with someone before you become lovers is a good way to have a relationship that is worth a damn. Both my brother and I picked friends when we finally decided to settle down.

And I don't know what life is like without him, but I do have a few friends who have no siblings. I always had someone to turn to when things were difficult, so if for nothing else, I would recommend him for that.

So do I! And, really? That's great, I mean it. Jake and I have been pretty close to inseparable all our lives and if I'm being 100% honest, I can see myself settling down with him. We both have similar goals, me to be a librarian and him to be a car mechanic. We both don't want to go away from Forks and La Push. And we both want to raise children here. Three. No more, no less. And I'm so glad, for both you and your brother. I'd love that, having someone to rely on no matter what. Sometimes, a person needs to just talk things over to feel better about them, even if they know what they're ultimately going to choose.

Yes, of course. A friend, especially a close friend that you spend a lot of time with, knows all of your secrets and flaws so that you don't have to explain yourself to them. You share goals with them. I can't imagine knowing a stranger the same way as I know Percival.

Well, honestly, you don't need a flesh and blood sibling or a twin to have that. You just have to be close to someone. To love them. To care about them and their opinions.

And I can't imagine knowing a stranger the way I know Jake. He...gets me? If that makes sense. He knows when I feel brave and when I need to hide away from other people. That's important, really really important. And, Percival? What is he like? I guess that would make it me and Leah. Leah is so smart and so strong, but I know when she feels like she needs support, too. Like when her boyfriend dumped her for her first cousin, of all people!

I know exactly what you mean. It is an extremely important part of a healthy relationship.

Yeah. And he trusts me. He knows I'm awkward and more than a little klutzy, but he trusts me to be strong anyway. And because I know he believes in me, I can. It really is limited in terms of what it can say. A little brother. Seth's probably the nicest person I've ever met. He could probably just give Sam a disappointed face and that would be haunting enough.

So, trust and mutual respect. It certainly sounds like a much healthier relationship than the one the Vampire appears to want.

Words themselves are inadequate when it comes to trying to explain Percy. I don't think I could do him justice. He's the only person who sees me as I am and as I want to be and loves both versions equally.

Ah, younger brother, that's slightly unfortunate. What about your Jake? Could he not step in to help Leah with this jackass?

It is. It will be. I know we'll be happy together. That's wonderful, the kind of love to aspire to. And Percy himself sounds amazing. Unfortunately, no. Sam is almost 7'0" tall and he's a crazy degree of built. Jake calls him a hall monitor on steroids. I've met him all of once, but it seems accurate.

Percy is... not perfect, but I'd like to think that he and I are complementary to one another. No matter what my brother says.

Seems like I do. But I think I always knew. Is there such a thing as a perfect person? I don't know. It may not be a good thing to find out because how would they treat others who didn't measure up? Those would be nice changes from Sam! I'm always in favor of not a dick.

In my experience, that's generally the case. Talking it out helps your brain comes to terms though.

You don't want to know how people who think they're perfect treat others. It's beyond deplorable.

Yeah. Edward's going to be less than thrilled, but I'm sure Jake would be willing come to my defense. My dad, too, he never liked Edward and Jacob is the son of his best friend. The bromance is real and hilarious. I've had something of a taste of it. They seem to think they're superior, no matter how many times they're told they're not. It's weird how hard that is to come by.

Do you truly care what this vampire will think if you are able to be happy with Jake? Your father being happy is a good side benefit, but doesn't really matter in the long run.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Percy is the complete opposite, despite his upbringing. It's one of his charms, in my opinion.

It is difficult to find, but Grog has his moments where he's less than charming.

Not really. But what I am afraid of is Edward refusing to take my wishes seriously and trying to get his family to start a war with the werewolves. He's...intense. It sounds like Percy is a really great guy. And charms are always fun. [she's thinking of Jacob fixing the Rabbit and trusting that she knew which wrenches did what. maybe odd, but Jake took his car repairs seriously and took help with it even more so]

I think he is. I can safely say that I wouldn't be with him if he wasn't who he is.

I don't know. Angering a man who is nine feet tall with rage issues who enjoys fighting seems to be a bad idea, and yet people don't think that one through.

Why would Grog mind? If they're stupid enough to hit him, they deserve every point of damage he does to them.
