And I can't imagine knowing a stranger the way I know Jake. He...gets me? If that makes sense. He knows when I feel brave and when I need to hide away from other people. That's important, really really important. And, Percival? What is he like? I guess that would make it me and Leah. Leah is so smart and so strong, but I know when she feels like she needs support, too. Like when her boyfriend dumped her for her first cousin, of all people!

I know exactly what you mean. It is an extremely important part of a healthy relationship.

Yeah. And he trusts me. He knows I'm awkward and more than a little klutzy, but he trusts me to be strong anyway. And because I know he believes in me, I can. It really is limited in terms of what it can say. A little brother. Seth's probably the nicest person I've ever met. He could probably just give Sam a disappointed face and that would be haunting enough.

So, trust and mutual respect. It certainly sounds like a much healthier relationship than the one the Vampire appears to want.

Words themselves are inadequate when it comes to trying to explain Percy. I don't think I could do him justice. He's the only person who sees me as I am and as I want to be and loves both versions equally.

It is. It will be. I know we'll be happy together. That's wonderful, the kind of love to aspire to. And Percy himself sounds amazing. Unfortunately, no. Sam is almost 7'0" tall and he's a crazy degree of built. Jake calls him a hall monitor on steroids. I've met him all of once, but it seems accurate.

Percy is... not perfect, but I'd like to think that he and I are complementary to one another. No matter what my brother says.

Seems like I do. But I think I always knew. Is there such a thing as a perfect person? I don't know. It may not be a good thing to find out because how would they treat others who didn't measure up? Those would be nice changes from Sam! I'm always in favor of not a dick.

In my experience, that's generally the case. Talking it out helps your brain comes to terms though.

Yeah. Edward's going to be less than thrilled, but I'm sure Jake would be willing come to my defense. My dad, too, he never liked Edward and Jacob is the son of his best friend. The bromance is real and hilarious. I've had something of a taste of it. They seem to think they're superior, no matter how many times they're told they're not. It's weird how hard that is to come by.

Do you truly care what this vampire will think if you are able to be happy with Jake? Your father being happy is a good side benefit, but doesn't really matter in the long run.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Percy is the complete opposite, despite his upbringing. It's one of his charms, in my opinion.

Not really. But what I am afraid of is Edward refusing to take my wishes seriously and trying to get his family to start a war with the werewolves. He's...intense. It sounds like Percy is a really great guy. And charms are always fun. [she's thinking of Jacob fixing the Rabbit and trusting that she knew which wrenches did what. maybe odd, but Jake took his car repairs seriously and took help with it even more so]

I think he is. I can safely say that I wouldn't be with him if he wasn't who he is.

I don't know. Angering a man who is nine feet tall with rage issues who enjoys fighting seems to be a bad idea, and yet people don't think that one through.

I am lucky, yes. I can agree to that, but if you want to see a soppy couple, you really must see Vax'ildan with Keyleth. It's gross.

Why would Grog mind? If they're stupid enough to hit him, they deserve every point of damage he does to them.

They are sweet. She's a great match for him.

There are very few instances where Grog isn't enjoying himself when he's hitting things with weapons.

I'm glad. Love's a really special thing. It's worth fighting for. That's actually kind of adorable as long as I was on the not being hit with weapons side. People should enjoy their callings.

Hm, yes, it is.

I think the only things he enjoys more than a good fight are ale, wenching and our friend Pike. Although, she's just as likely to jump in and fight alongside him.

She's a third of his size. He routinely carries her like she's just a small child, despite her wearing a full suit of armor. Although, I suppose she's nearly as vicious in battle as he is.

Sounds like that might make people underestimate her, even considering the suit of armor. 'She's fine, she's no one to worry abou--aaaaack!' and so on.

Yes, they do happen to underestimate her, but not just because of her size. She's really a nice, kind woman who takes her calling as a cleric of Sarenrae very seriously. But, she's as deadly in battle as the rest of us.

That's really kind of amazing. I mean, I can't exactly picture the pastor of the First Methodist Church going to battle. But in your world, it's normal?

Oh, well, she's not like that all the time, but priests are generally the ones who take care of the temples while clerics travel to spread the word of their gods and paladins take up whatever cause their god has given them. The clerics and paladins need to know how to fight, of course, or they'll end up dead. Doesn't help their god much, does it?

That's so much cooler than my world. It must be a relief, to serve one's God and be able to fight to defend Them at the same time. That's way beyond anything I've heard of, outside of the Crusades.
