Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! Would you want to find someone here to finish it? Tattoos are not something vampires typically do. Eternity is an awful long time to live with something, and so many other forms of art don't require the same commitment. It may take some scientific engineering to get tattoos that would last.

I thought about it but no. If I do choose to get a tattoo here, it'll be something new. And humans live with their tattoos forever, too. That's why most artists don't work on inebriated people but, uh... Yeah, I guess a tattoo wouldn't last long on a vampire

I have no doubt she can see anything here that she wishes. I do hope she takes notice and from it learn. True potential is developed by people making choices for themselves. Being forced into situations may be a step, but it is never the final step.

Something new from someone new somewhere new. A hundred years, a thousand, ten thousand... I have long had to pick with care what I carry with me, for it is so little compared to what I have lost. Normal tattoos may not work on a vampire, yet if there's a place that could manage it, it may be Folkmore, should I decide to get one.

Thousands of years of penmanship gone to good purpose. Every time I look at it, it brings me joy, a smile to my face, comfort deep within. [ Good things happen, Sharon, even at Thirteen's hand, little as she may want to admit it. ]

With temporary tattoos, you can paint my skin with your artistry time and time again, each time precious for its ephemeral natural. It would be my pleasure to do both, ink and paint, so long as it is at your hand.

I wish that I could always bring you back to life with naught but a kiss, that whatever else should happen, it would restore your soul and remind it that you have yet more life to live, brighter to shine, oh to be loved further and deeper and more thoroughly than I have had chance to love you yet.

I yearn to learn every crevice of you, body and mind and soul, to love you fully as you are, and it seems when I open my mouth, when I pour out my words in this text, when I let that love loose that there is so much I cannot stop for want of cutting short the true immensity with which I love you.

And, really, you don't need to say a single thing for me to understand how much you love me. I can feel it and I've never felt so loved before.

While I am uncertain myself whether it be possible, I adamantly wish to attempt the feat, to love you more and more with the time we have together, for I appreciate each and every day, and like a man dying of thirst in the desert, I always long for you.

I feel your fierce and—dare I say? yes, I dare—protective love in return, and I know not which I am more grateful for, that you feel my love or that you know I feel yours.

I'm equally grateful for both, and the bond that makes it possible. It makes me appreciate the fact I'm a Familiar—and that you agreed to form the bond with me.

It makes sense to me that you are a Familiar, for neither good nor evil, community nor individualism, can sum you up; you go beyond, and therein the Familiar has much in common with you. I feel honored to have this bond with you, honored that you would agree to the torrent of emotion you know pours out of me pour toward you at all times and that you would share your own in return. Though I wish you needn't know what bloodlust feels like, I know you accept that so that you may help me, and I do appreciate it. I do. I am never so foolish as to believe battling those urges is beyond me.
