Depends on the job. Sometimes your window of opportunity is too narrow to do the cleanup yourself. Or you're working from a distance. Lots of possibilities.

I wouldn't make a good assassin anyway. Too much of a perfectionist, you know?

True enough. Assassination is never perfect. Different standards for good enough, job to job, but perfect? Never heard of it. Not in any work I've done. So you can likely cross off general and revolutionary from your potential job prospects.

For the time being, I think I'll just stick with baking.

Helluva lot good with baking. Especially here. My career path isn't relevant here.

It is. Won't argue that. Does leave me without much of a career, but that's my own making.

You're nearly free to do anything you want here. Don't you have hobbies you could pursue?

Cards, whiskey... never had much time for hobbies.

That's it. Find you some people to play cards with and drink whiskey. Make it a boy's night or whoever you find to participate.

Because I win. I got banned from gambling parlors for not cheating.

How do you get banned for not cheating? Did they want you to cheat or something?

I won too much. They couldn't ban me for cheating (that would've been preferable). Sometimes I couldn't even sit at a table. They'd ID me and kick me out.

That's not fair. Especially if you weren't hurting anyone. Maybe don't advertise that part when you look for card-playing buddies?
