TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT

Welcome to Folkmore's mostly monthly Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

Shame that the dragon had to be killed, they're incredible creatures, but if it was causing trouble then better to stop it. Are any of your friends here? Perhaps I talked to them.
[ Luck was in his favor then, and sometimes that's more valuable than being skilled. ]

As luck would have it my whole troupe of Vox Machina is here in Folkmore. It would appear I was the last to arrive but you know what they say save the best for last, right?

Oh, Vox machina! I know Grog, he was one of the first people I met. We arrived in this world at the same time. He left me with quite an impression.
[ Especially since they met at Wintermute's hot springs after Grog jumped into the pool butt-naked. ]
I have yet to meet the others but I I think some of them also run a bakery?

Yes indeed! Its called the Slayer's Cake though I have not had the pleasure of seeing it for myself yet either.

An interesting name. Perhaps we should visit then, I am always in the mood for cake. Better eat pastries than deal with soul detroying demons.

Jayce I like your thinking my newfound friend! Stuffing my face with cake is exactly what I need.

Then what are we waiting for? My treat.
[ Anything for good cake. ]

We are going to get along just fine, Jayce.
no subject
I hope so, yes.

Well it sounds like a date, Jayce. Stuffing our faces with cake sounds like a great way to get to know each other.

It's one of the tastiest. I'll see you there then? Or you want us to meet at the station?

Oh, I can't just go around holding someone's hand on our first date, how scandalous.
[ Since this is a rare case of Jayce understanding the jokes, he's being playful back. ]

Back home, I never had a lot of chances to take days off. I did go to an occasional party, but those were also work related and not really enjoyable.

Having wings helps with getting to places quickly. By any chance, are you afraid of heights?

[ ... ]
That's why more information than I needed to know. [ Scanlan, why. ] Does that tactic actually work?
