Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, partake in character relationship memes and open up our invites for the upcoming application cycle!

Check out the bottom of this post for important dates to keep an eye on!

Mod Help Needed

We are in desperate need of some mod helpers! We need someone to help take over Activity Check and the Spoons page. Both of these are relatively straightforward tasks!

Activity Check requires you to respond accordingly to all players and make an updated post about who needs to respond still/who has been swept through AC or drops.

Spoons merely require you to make sure counts generally look right and that any purchases are approved.

We would also appreciate any help on App Reading anyone would be willing to give. Thank you!

Announcements

All prompts and events from July and August will end September 1st. Camp Camelot will vanish into thin air. If you happen to be at the camp or in the cabins at this time, they will merely vanish into golden dust around you. Any items won/gained during Camp Camelot will be on your character's person or at their home.

The floods from August will have mostly dried up within the first week of September although it will still be a bit muddy!

Hello! Please refer to our Mod Announcement for new information regarding the upcoming Application/Reserves section!

All players are permitted two invites that will expire November 11th. This means all invites on this page are good for October and November cycles.

Applications/Reserves will be suspended until October 1st. Check-In will be optional for August.

Additionally, we are thrilled at the response for mod help and hope to get back to applicants ASAP! Thank you all for your understanding!

Invitations

Our game is invite-only which means in order to make a reserve or apply, you must have an invite from a current player in-game! Players are not required to give invites. Invites are open between the 22nd of every month and close on the 5th of the following month when applications open. All invites expire after that application cycle ends.

Players are limited to one invite per round unless they have purchased an additional invite slot through Spoons. If using an additional invite slot, please make sure to link to your purchase in your invite form.

Invites allow new players to reserve/apply to the game. Invites do not guarantee that new players will get in. Some invites may not be accepted and we will message players on a case-by-case basis if necessary.

Players only require an invite for their first application. Once they are a player in the game, they can apply as more characters at a later date. If a player drops completely from the game, they will require a new invite to get back in.

Character Details: Impressions can be found here but mostly right now in deviation to (most of) his icons, he does have his Infinity War beard. And sometimes he sticks flowers in it, in accordance to accepted practices in Willow.
Character Summary: History can be found here but tl;dr fighty tiny sickly dude attempts to enlist for ww2, is experimented on to become beefy soldier dude, crashes a plane full of big bad missiles into the ocean, wakes up in 2012, fights aliens. Definitely missing some things.

Character Role: Legend.
Character Role Deets: Big white wings, thin gold halo. He learned how to fly! He also turns into a merman now sometimes? It's confusing. He's confused.
Character Living Quarters: He lives in Lapine with his buddy Bucky but sometimes stays over at Satori Hills.
Character Schools: n/a in September
Day to Day Life:

Guess it'll depend what the event is next month. He does not have a job, but if things slow down he might get into painting. If you have good CR with him, he may offer to paint you a portrait for his portfolio.

Other than that, he's starting cooking school. And apparently giving relationship advice? Also if you moved any of your stuff or boarded up your house in anticipation of the flood, he will help you move all the heavy stuff back in.

Current Mindset/Health: After a weird month, he's doing okay.
Recent Developments: I don't think there are any that affect his CR too much...? He likes to recommend characters to other characters, and since his bff just arrived maybe expect extra amounts of recommendations for Bucky.
Goals For Your Character: I am not too sure about this, probably just making lots of friends and learning how to relax and retire. Also, he really likes to help anyone who wants to find their potential and go home to their loved ones, so he'll be happy to assist if your character has a goal they want help with.
Problems With Your Character: If you are close enough to him, maybe expect some complaints about his love life this month.

Wanted CR:

1. People from other worlds who wanna tell them about their worlds.
   
2. Cooking buddies, or people who wanna volunteer to eat his cooking experiments until he becomes Gordon Ramsay.
   
3. He is making an audiobook of The Hobbit so please lmk if you want to help voice act. I may or may not have him post this to the network.
   
4. I bought him some Asgardian ale so... people to get drunk with him! Note, this offer is only open to adults who are not baseline human. He will order baseline human adults a normal alcoholic drink, and children will get offered soda :>
   
5. ALMOST FORGOT! he needs people to take care of him when he is drunk too, which may or may not involve peeling him off his lawn, taking away his relic, or encouraging him to send sad drunk texts. Monthly Pacing: A little slow lately, getting to tags every couple of days mostly. I've been having some health issues that make it hard to get much of anything done. I'm happy to prioritize any important threads though, just let me know! For John, I'll be taking it easy on September stuff (I hope) so that I can just work on finishing up July and August. For Zagreus, I'm trying to decide if I still want to start some August stuff or let him have the spotlight in September.

Characer Species: human
Character Details: Just glasses and an overbite!
Character Summary: John is a young man who played a video game and it ruined his life, just like your parents always said it would. This was no ordinary game-- it hailed the destruction of the Earth and set into motion a chain of events that would lead to meeting aliens, dying multiple times, being resurrected as a god-like being, and for John, in particular, literally rearranging canon so that he and his friends could have a shot at a "happily ever after". Despite this, John is still pretty outwardly cheerful, though he struggles with depression from the trauma he experienced playing Sburb.

Character Role: Familiar
Character Role Deets: I do want to explore some other transformations at some point, some kind of bird and also horse, but I'm saving that for after I tie up more Camp stuff.
Character Living Quarters: An apartment in Satori Hills
Character Schools: John will be starting part-time at Thoth doing undergrad studies in Computer Science soon!
Day to Day Life: Most of his day, when not dealing with absolute chaos, is spent taking care of his pet salamander and just trying to find things to keep himself busy. He'll be starting his studies soon so he will also have homework which he has not had in 7+ years, please wish him luck.

Current Mindset/Health: Physically well, but still struggling to find his emotional footing. He's learning how to socialize outside his friend group again and that's scary, but it's getting better.
Recent Developments: He has come to grips with the fact that he has a boy crush and he is 0k with that. This is a big thing for him. 😔
Goals For Your Character: Still just learning how to be a functional early-20-something.
Problems With Your Character: Just the above really!

Wanted CR: lots of things including, but not limited to:

- people to flirt with him, even if it's just to give him a hard time...
- study buddies or a tutor to help him with his homework
- regular buddies because he can always use more of those
- fellow musicians! He plays the piano so folks who play something else or sing

Character Name: Zagreus
Character Age: early 20s
Characer Species: demigod
Character Details: His most notable features are his eyes - one normal green eye, and one red with black sclera. Also, his feet are on fire. It's fine, he won't ruin your carpet because ~magic~.
Character Summary: Zagreus is the son of the Lord of the Underworld, Hades himself, and the goddess of nature, Persephone. His mother left when he was an infant, leaving him to be raised by his stern and overbearing father, as well as the goddess of night, Nyx, who he saw as a mother. He eventually fights his way out of the Underworld, and meets his mother; after a lot of literal back and forth, he gets her to return to the Underworld with him. He is also a CRAU from Noctium, where he spent a little over a year learning how to engage with mortals and just having a grand old time living on the surface without immediately dying.

Character Role: Legend
Character Role Deets: He'll be getting his wings soon! Big black raven wings. So that will be fun for him!
Character Living Quarters: A little burrow in Lapine, at least once he bails it out from the flooding.
Character Schools: He will begin teaching part-time soon, giving novice and beginning combat lessons at Agrona. He is adept in swords, spears, bow & arrow, offensive shield, and fist weapons!
Day to Day Life: Zagreus just sort of lets the day take him wherever it will, he's a very social lad. His teaching schedule will be weekday mornings, which will give him a little structure to his day.

Current Mindset/Health: He's hale and healthy in all respects!
Recent Developments: At present, there's nothing major to report. He's still settling in here and rebuilding his life again.
Goals For Your Character: One of my overall goals for him is to explore more of what it means to be a "god", so that's the big one. But also just getting used to his Legend abilities.
Problems With Your Character: He misses his old friends. :( But that's about it.

Monthly Pacing: I tend to do a round of tags a day at least though I do at times go a few days in-between and other times I boomerrang constantly. Just depends on energy levels and all that. This month has been kind of on the slow brain side for me.
OOC Limitations/Disinterests: I'm interested in all sorts of RP -- gen, romantic, sexual and violent as well. I'm not great at writing fight scenes but I play fighty ladies so... hit me with your best shot.

Hayan Park | Unholy Blood | Legend

Character Name: Hayan Park
Character Age: 20
Character Species: Pureblood Vampire. She was born a vampire, not turned.
Character Details: Hayan is 5'3" with bright blue eyes and slitted pupils, white hair, dark black claws for fingernails and red lips. The red is very natural, all part of the pureblood vampire thing. In the past she had a human guise as well but she got so angry at one point it broke and she can't go back now.
Also she can't eat regular food, it makes her violently ill because of how vampire blood circulates. She can drink anything though (alcohol doesn't get her drunk whatsoever) and she can eat anything made with blood, particularly seonji (coagulated chunks of ox blood made for a soup in Korea).
And she's not undead! She's a vampire but she was born one as compared to most other vampire in the series that were turned. That's why she's called a pureblood.

Character Summary: Info for all of her powers. In short summary she can run real fast, is very strong, can recover from nearly anything that doesn't destroy vital organs and has terrific hearing and smell.

Hayan is a girl with a cheerful personality that's only now coming back to shine after a good half year of being constantly mad and killing other vampires. Her emotions do turn on a dime sometimes and she's quite capable of turning chillingly serious or filled with rage. For the most part though all Hayan has ever wanted was to live a normal life loving the people in her family, whether they're found or not. She's very kind, doesn't believe in taking human blood and really just wants to help.

Character Role: Legend
Character Role Deets: She has eyes that sometimes change to reflect her moods -- a brilliant glowing red when she's angry, soft pink when she's flushed or embarrassed. More will crop up eventually. She also has silvery white wings to match her hair that tend to pop out along with her white crown of thorns halo when she gets excited, haha.

Character Living Quarters: A cottage in Gram.
Character Schools: Nowhere at the moment but I'm keen on sending her to either Agrona for fighting, Baba Yaga for abilities or Amrita for survival.
Day to Day Life: So before she got here Hayan was involved in a near six month campaign to stomp out all of the Angels of Death, the defacto leaders of all the vampires in Korea. She'd also discovered the identity of the one they called 'God', an imperfect pureblood who is bent on making everyone in Korea a vampire.
She has stuff to do at home, sure, but for now she's just chilling and resting. Give her until next month or after camp ends to really start trying to have some semblance of a normal life here.

Current Mindset/Health: Hayan is torn. She had things she needs to accomplish at home but she realizes fretting over them here isn't going to change things. Hayan has the mindset of "if something is going to happen anyway, me feeling a certain way about it isn't going to change it" and so she keeps on keeping on.

Recent Developments: She beat up an eagle with a boot, does that count? Also she talked about how it might be good to be here with Sunny and that actually did help her decide she wasn't exactly a bad person for trying to just ... live while here.

Goals For Your Character: FOUND FAMILY. Eventually I want Hayan to make a boatload of friends and maybe take a couple of them under her wing as their big sis. I wouldn't shrink from anything romantic/sexual either (18+ F/M of course) though by this point in canon she's starting to have an inkling of feelings for one Detective Euntae Hwang.

Problems With Your Character: She doesn't want to gross anyone out by seeing her eat blood, haha. However she misses eating with people so if your character doesn't mind that sort of thing, please come eat with her.

Wanted CR: Give me dat found family, those awkward attractions or outright romances. Basically I'll take any CR you have.
Unwanted CR: I have no limits. I am a free spirit.
Open/Closed to New CR: Will make stupid jokes for CR. Did I tell you Hayan references The Great Gatsby and the Terminator through the course of the webtoon?

Heine Rammsteiner | Dogs: Bullets & Carnage

Monthly Pacing: I usually tag at least once a day, and frequently slowmerang throughout. (GMT-4)

Character Name: Heine Rammsteiner
Character Age: ~20-22
Character Species: Genetically engineered human
Character Details: Albino, resting bitch face, gothpunk aesthetic, has a spinal implant with a partial collar piece embedded in his neck.
Character Summary: Created in a laboratory to be a weapon, he was experimented on for much of his life and didn't escape until he was ~16ish, under unfortunate circumstances where he was the near-sole survivor. A bit of a loner and doesn't like to get involved in things that don't concern him personally, but will put others in front of himself if he's grown attached to them. He comes off as irritably stoic and snarky at times unless something is agitating him. Violent and vicious when angry or stressed, and there's the potential for his other 'personality' to come to the forefront when he can't handle something himself mentally, which is the psychological manifestation of his spine device. Afraid of women and might freak out if touched uninvited.

Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: Two sets of short canine-like fangs, slightly clawed fingernails, night vision.
Character Living Quarters: Cottage in Gram by himself.
Character Schools: N/A; he's probably never getting into this.
Day to Day Life: He doesn't need to work, and so he doesn't. Why bother? He's mostly loitering around by himself (or with Nill) if nothing weird is going on. Stays at home doing jack shit half the time as he doesn't have many friends and isn't much for socialising outside of contrived situations. Rarely looks at the network. Likely attempting to learn ASL, but what is self-discipline...

Current Mindset/Health: His psychological baseline isn't incredibly stable and runs the gamut from depressive funk to stoic apathy to embracing psychotic tendencies with Nic Cage flair if something sets him off. Will talk to 'himself' aloud, and it's usually an argument. Physically fine and generally will be, as he heals too quickly for anything to take.
Recent Developments: Nothing important, mainly visited other people's memories and had some shark/centipede encounters.
Goals For Your Character: I'm winging it. I can't plan that far ahead.
Problems With Your Character: He's pretty physically avoidant for fear of lashing out violently, and has intimacy issues on all levels. Doesn't think he's capable of being a good person or actually helping anyone, despite doing that frequently (in his own way).

Wanted CR: Anything goes.

...actually. Mariane knows what it's like to be in one of those funks. As well as maintaining stoicism (though she couldn't afford apathy, given the Blight and everything). With the side of psychotic on occasion (like sic'ing Alistair on Loghain because she knew Alistair would kill Loghain just because he had a score to settle. and if you're canon-familiar, Mariane's a Cousland, the less said about what she did to Howe, the better).

Character Name: Gemmaline
Character Age: 80ish
Character Species: Dark Elf
Character Details: She has gray skin, purple eyes with large irises, and pointed ears. She stands at 5'7" and is pretty slight framed as a result of malnutrition in her early years. There are various scars visible depending on what she's wearing due to years of combat.

Character Summary: Gemmaline is genuinely good at heart and wants to make the right choices that keep people around her safe and happy. She hopes for a good solution to problems that arise, but recognizes that in truth not everything can turn out well and is mainly a realist; understanding that the world is cruel but at least trying to push things in the right direction. She has little patience for whiners, slackers, or the pompous. Her background is that of an orphan who grew up in a society that heavily values claiming lineage to one of the Great Houses, so being classified as a nobody has turned her against the rich, titled, and powerful — especially if they abuse that power. She was a bit more wild in her youth, being a member of the Thieves' Guild and stealing from those she felt deserved it, but now she only does sneaky things if it's to uncover a villain's plot and is more likely to want to help those in need. She's been thrust into the role of savior for her world like any good little MMORPG protagonist, but again, she's more of a realist about it than anything else.

Character Role: Legend
Character Role Deets: She can manifest both silvery wings and a silver halo glow around her head, but at the moment she's having trouble controlling it and they're put away more than they're out. She now also can turn into a mermaid with a tail the color of her eyes.
Character Living Quarters: Tiny Home #3 in Talaria
Character Schools: She's eventually going to start teaching jewelry making perhaps through the general school, but she has a forge that Tony Stark and Steve Rogers helped her build so she'll be producing items soon!
Day to Day Life: She wanders, she pokes her nose into things, and offers her help. In addition to jewelry making she's going to start seeing if she can find any artifacts buried around the place or if Thirteen manifested this place as brand new.

Current Mindset/Health: She feels more involved in the population here due to rescuing people from bubbles and others seeing her memories. Usually she doesn't stick to one place for too long so this is a new feeling.

Problems With Your Character: He's afraid of a lot of things and suffers from anxiety/depression. Sunny hallucinates quite often and most of the time they are unsettling things attached to his fears and trauma (drowning, heights, spider, etc..) Mostly, these fears manifest into Something, a dark being that can interact with Sunny but nobody else. Sunny also has an alter ego, a 12 year old version of himself, named Omori that serves as a mental protector of sorts. (Spoiler. Highlight to read.)The more Sunny tries to confront his trauma and resist Omori from taking over his personality, the more Omori will encourage him to end his life. Other than that, he is extremely stubborn and can accidentally be very tactless / savage since he sucks at talking to people.

Character Species: Miqo'te/Mystel, aka he was a catboy even before he got here
Character Details: After the previously mentioned catboy thing, the biggest thing about him is that he's partially made of blue crystal: his entire right arm, about half his chest, most of his neck, and a little bit creeping up onto his face. He also has unnaturally bright red eyes and his hair is going white at the ends.
Character Summary: G'raha has been through three apocalypses at this point and come through it all just absolutely enamored with the tenacity and empathy of mankind. Prior to Folkmore, he was the ruler of a city small enough for him to still personally know all its residents, and old enough that if those residents were born in said city, he's known them since they were babies. Prior to all the apocalypses, though, he was a history post-grad who loved stories of adventure and wanted nothing more than to have a grand adventure himself, and the longer he's away from his responsibilities, the more that part of him starts to resurface.

Character Role: Familiar
Character Role Deets: Since he's already a catboy, he didn't get any physical signs of his role. But in the next month or two, I'm planning on giving him a small canon update to when he and his city are declared terrible villains by an enemy of theirs and use that to also change him over to a myth, I think I'll have more fun with that.
Character Living Quarters: A treehouse in Leshy
Character Schools: G'raha is a self-directed learner and would make a terrible teacher so he is not formally enrolled in any of the schools, but he can often be found raiding their libraries for reading material.
Day to Day Life: August has seen him mostly sticking to his cabin at Camp Camelot, but he should be back to normal in September: wandering around a lot exploring and talking to people, and spending a lot of time in libraries.

Current Mindset/Health: With the weather clearing up, G'raha will regain his energy, but he's not super thrilled about the discovery that now he is the oversized sunlight battery and his storage capacity is a lot lower than the Crystal Tower's. Not much he can do about it right now other than hope the weather stays nice, but he's not looking forward to winter. Also not thrilled about his younger self having been running around all through August.
Recent Developments: He has been keeping his true identity as G'raha Tia a secret and going exclusively by the Crystal Exarch instead partially out of habit and partially on the off chance one of the Scions appears (sorry Era), but after August's event, that cover's kind of blown. That is something he and I are both going to kind of deal with as it comes, and I'm down for threads addressing it. He's definitely not going to be immediately and completely switching to going by G'raha again, but he's going to have to loosen up about keeping it so absolutely secret.
Goals For Your Character: I want G'raha to be a reliable pillar of the community and also to do a ship with him eventually. It'll take some doing to get him thinking of dating as even a possibility, but I want it.
Problems With Your Character: The lack of sunlight in August has him knocked on his ass for right now, and going into September, he'll have some wrestling with his identity to do thanks to his younger self.

Character Details: She is 4'7" and has ivory horns, scales, and a tail. Her most notable feature are her bright blue eyes, which have a thin ring of light around the pupils. She has freckles, and recently chopped her hair short for practical reasons. She has a posh British accent, with an undertone of Irish when she's particularly emotional.

Character Summary: Era is very compassionate, and helpful to a fault. She will go out of her way to do even the most mundane of favours for pretty much anyone she meets who asks something of her despite her rank and reputation. She is strong and independent, and confident in her skills, and while largely a benefit, it does often lead to her tackling things on her own when it would be better to ask for help. Her power has never gone to her head; despite her talent for magic—healing arts in particular—she has still lost beloved friends and continues to mourn them while pushing forward.

Due to a combination of being autistic and her lifestyle not allowing for much practice with the art of conversation. She tends to be very literal, straightforward, and honest with her communication, which has helped her in many ways, but has been a hindrance in others. When she doesn't want to talk about something she will never willingly lie, but will resort to technicalities and half-truths if she feels the need.

She is polite and friendly, though doesn't suffer rudeness. She has a good amount of sass and a dry sense of humour that occasionally runs dark. She has a notoriously calm disposition, though she is quite good at masking any internal distress and also known to let her temper flare occassionally.

She is curious and eager to learn about most anything, but particularly anything pertaining to magic. Staying still is not something she can handle for very long, and it is part of the reason why she's always on the go—always learning something new, or improving on what she already knows.

Character Role Details: Her primary transformation is a little ivory dragonet about the size of a cat, though also favours otters, and will transform into other things she's been transformed into before at home. She still needs to figure out how to fly in her dragonet form, since she's been a bit hesitant to experiment too much.

Physically she is just about healed, albeit a bit stiff and sore where the scar tissue has finished forming.

Recent Developments: Fully leaving behind her identity as the Warrior of Light and instead wholeheartedly embracing the mantle of Azem, the Traveler. It makes her feel more connected to home, and gives her the comfort of some kind of purpose.
Goals For Your Character: Really delving into who she is as a person rather than just a hero. She's never not been the Warrior of Light/Hydaelyn's Chosen, so she hasn't really formed an identity outside of that role. So I guess, in short, have her learn how to be like... a person. Because she's never really had the chance.

Character Details: On the taller side (about 5'8-ish) with a bit of a curvy build (probably slight muscle definition, but definitely no abs or anything on her), long powder-blue hair (usually in a high ponytail of some sort) and magenta eyes! Also has an inexplicable Trans-Atlantic accent despite being very much Japanese (thanks dub)
Character Summary: Botan's just your average light-hearted, playful, and well-meaning lady with heart on her sleeve and a tendency to blab-- who also so happens to be a grim reaper! She's assistant to her world's Spirit Detective back home, which... essentially boils down to her playing the messenger for her real boss (the prince of the Spirit World), supervising a bunch of pretty himbos on their missions (aka sitting on the sidelines), and making sure said himbos don't die 8') Since she's spent a majority of her existence until recently observing the living world from afar, she's been throwing herself whole-heartedly into the "human" experience and making the most of it! She very much loves to meddle, though (especially when it comes to people's love lives), and can be somewhat scatterbrained at times, which is about as unfortunate of a combination as they come lmao

Character Summary: Mariane has had a rough year. However, she's engaged to marry the love of her life, King Alistair Theirin and was getting ready to take her place as his queen and co-ruler. She loves (and misses) Alistair to perhaps an unhealthy degree.

Character Details: Pointed ears, slit pupils. Ability to fully and partially transform into a dragon. Water powers.
Character Summary: Corrin is the playable avatar character of Fire Emblem Fates! A very quick summary of him is that he is sunshine incarnate. He is an outgoing but soft-spoken individual with a penchant for kindness, who displays a strong credulousness and enthusiasm to make friends with everyone he comes across. However, because of his childhood spent in isolation, he is also naïve and has virtually no experience with the outside world, causing him to be incredibly curious about new sights and other people's affairs.

Despite the fact that Corrin is a very driven, kind and optimistic person, he has a horrendously tragic backstory and masks this well. Sometimes he may experience flashbacks or memory-share events which allow others to see that beneath his smile, there is a lot of lived pain and suffering.

Day to Day Life: Since he lived his life captured in forced isolation, the outside world is still so mysterious and beautiful to him. Especially this place! He can be spotted trying to befriend or talk to anyone he can, smelling and admiring flowers, holding leaves up to the sun to look at all the veins, paddling in water, all that wholesome cute stuff.

Current Mindset/Health: He's ... a bit shaken up from the memory bubble thing but he's okay otherwise! He does feel quite lonely because no one from home is here and he misses them a lot.
Recent Developments: Did a little bit of friend-making and had some trauma bubble time but that's it really.
Goals For Your Character: I want him to have pals and figure his potential out.
Problems With Your Character: He's disgustingly sweet and naïve. Does that count? Haha! But for real, he can't do any mundane tasks. Laundry, cooking, that sort of stuff - he's useless at it all due to him growing up as a kidnapping victim and then living as royalty where his retainers would do all his tasks.

OOC Limitations/Disinterests: Gender swaps, anything dealing with pregnancy. Negative CR just to be negative CR. I don't want to write long drawn out fight scenes and prefer to handwave them generally. I'd like a heads up for talk of dead parents/grandparents, child abuse, or animal death. I also don't tend to play plots that deal with my character dying (I might make an exception someday but I'd have to have A Reason) or having to deal with repeated emotional fallout from close friends dying.

Character Name: Eren Jaeger
Character Age: 19
Characer Species: human/flesh mecha
Character Details: Eren doesn't tend to have a lot of outward expression (which is WILD considering he was super expressive when he was just a few years younger, but ya boy went absolutely off the deep end), but he's someone who tends to just seem dangerous. Even if you have no idea about the titan thing, he's just got that Vibe, you know? Underneath that stoicism he does still have way too many emotions, he's just like #repression or something idk. He's very intense, probably seems edgy, doesn't really care if you make fun of him. Basically he has to learn how to just be a person again. He's sssssort of getting there.
Character Summary: WHEW okay, Eren comes from a world where there are people with the potential to turn into titans (see above flesh mecha link), though most of them cannot do so voluntarily. The involuntary titans eat people. That is pretty much all they do! Eren was a soldier fighting titans, though PLOT TWIST (not really), he can actually turn into one himself. A bunch of awful horrible shit happens for a long time and then there's a time skip, and REAL PLOT TWIST, Eren stopped being the protagonist and became the antagonist. There's another absolutely bonkers plot twist that happens too (you can read all about it in my last event post actually) and idk everything is truly horrific all the time forever ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

If you're like "hey Lyn that told me absolutely nothing about the plot of attack on titan" you're right and I'm sorry.

At the canon point he's from, Eren experiences time in a totally abnormal way so learning about his past is not always easy because he gets kind of confused or weird about the order of events. He's an extremely well-informed narrator but he's not necessary reliable, especially because he won't always tell the whole truth.

He's coming around to the realisation that he misses having friends? Kind of? He misses touching people after having spent like a year pretending to be an injured prisoner in a military psych hospital (this is actually WORSE than it sounds, I am sorry for attack on titan's everything).

Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: Eren doesn't have any permanent features, but his myth is the blue oni myth. I haven't come up with anything to explore just yet but physical:
Sometimes if you look at him wrong you might see Eren's titan's features on his face (like these teeth), or his eyes will glow too green. Depending on the event I'll give him an oni mask (in either form; wow imagine a 50 foot tall blue oni! Like the titan wasn't scary enough lol!)
Character Living Quarters: Cottage in the middle of nowhere because he's antisocial and also, you know, sometimes turns into a giant monster
Character Schools: Not his thing, though he could probably be convinced to attend one.
Day to Day Life: This is the hardest question for me in RP since I tend to sort of gloss over slice of life things and go for the ~emotional meaty bits~ so he just does idk regular things. He's bad at being a person. He's fascinated with food, though, since he grew up with scarcity so he will try pretty much any food he can get his hands on here! It would not occur to him to get ?? A job ?? Hello, he's a weapon/soldier/full time crazy person, why would he think about a regular job? But maybe he'll pick one up at some point.

Current Mindset/Health: WELL, he's getting over a chronic case of "became the villain on purpose" and dealing with what it even means to be removed from the context that made him that way. Everything he's done his whole life has been very specifically rooted in where/how he grew up, so now he's just kind of directionless. It's a good place for him to be, much better than the entire way his canon ends, but ICly it's jarring. He sometimes lets himself have emotions again, so that's…happening I guess!

Recent Developments: Thanks to talking to people about lore, and to some memory share stuff, he's coming around to thinking about what he even wants because all of that murder (that he didn't actually do yet back home but knows he will do) wasn't really what he wanted. What does he want? He has no idea! But at least he's starting to try to answer that question.
Goals For Your Character: Anything that pulls him out of his stupid bullshit and makes him have to confront the fact that he has feelings and so do other people is good for him. His "full potential" at home is a terrible nightmare, but he doesn't have to be that! He gets to experience actual freedom, which is something he's always been obsessed with, but what does that look like? How do you forgive yourself for things you did in a time loop that technically haven't happened yet but you know about? What does it look like to just exist, forgiveness aside?

But also like he DID make a choice to do unforgivable things back home. He can make really shitty choices too. I'm down to explore hideous mistakes or whatever.
Problems With Your Character: Eren just is a problem tbh
NO OKAY he has massive amounts of trauma from growing up in hell, and he shoved all his emotions in a box and hasn't really taken them back out again. Mostly he's just a big question mark. He could do with sharing some feelings but it's hard to get that out of him.

Wanted CR: LISTEN, listen, I am always here to write trashy trash (the m/m kind mostly) and I'm not quiet about it so if you're here for the naughty stuff, let us talk.
Otherwise, people who can pull Eren out of his nonsense even a little bit. That doesn't have to be gentle. People who will try to get him to have fun, to act like a teenager instead of whatever it is that he does instead. Other people who are/were violent, who can understand and deal with that, are always welcome too. He may not be A Villain now but he's a messed up person and he does tend to solve problems with violence, and that's not going to change overnight.
Unwanted CR: I don't want negative CR just to be negative; I like there to be a reason for it. Eren is a difficult person and can be a huge asshole and he's generally kind of pro-murder so obviously negative CR can happen, I just don't want it out of the blue for no reason.

Character Age: 18/19; she has about 4 years of CRAU under her belt and picked her birthday herself (Sept. 20).
Characer Species: Genetically-modified human.
Character Details: Nill is a smol bean clocking in at about 5'4", and she has equally small, white-feathered wings growing out of her back (she had them before arriving in FM!). They are too small for her to use to fly, but they help her keep her balance in precarious situations. Nill is also mute, which is a byproduct of her genetic modifications, but knows American Sign Language. From her Meadowlark CRAU, she has a "piece of a god" inside her, which gives her the ability to manipulate density, and also causes her chest to glow with a blue light when she uses her powers.

Nill likes to help people, full stop. She tries to tell herself she doesn't, but if she sees someone in need, she'll always help them out if it's in her power to do so. The counterpoint to that is that she's really bad at accepting any help offered to her! She has become pretty morally gray in her teen years, partly because the first instance of kindness ever shown to her was a dude killing another dude on her behalf. If it helps, it helps! The past few years of dimension-hopping have left her a little jaded and kinda bitter at TPTB for jerking her around the universe, but she's really good at keeping that all inside.

She's always wanted her life to be simple and uncomplicated, but it turns out the universe decided everything has to be painful and messy for her instead. She has survived sexual and physical abuse, more shootouts than she can count, explosions, spaceshipwrecks, kidnappings, and a few save-the-world-type battles. All of this has left her a little jumpy and extremely cautious, and she always likes to take her time making decisions, trying to see a situation from every angle before jumping in. The exception to this is if she sees someone in immediate danger, which will turn off the self-preservation part of her brain and turn on the throw-myself-into-danger-to-save-them part.

She's in the midst of her Rebellious Teen™ phase (she's a late bloomer), but is on the path to figuring out what kind of person she actually wants to be. At this point, that pretty much includes settling down somewhere in a place where nobody would bother her, where she can cook for the people she loves and tend a little garden. Is that so much to ask??? Apparently, yes.

Character Role Deets: Nill already likes to help other people, and I think she'd be a great familiar for either a Myth or a Legend because of her tendency to see situations from every angle! The only problem will be convincing her to accept such an intimate bond, when she already has such a hard time opening up to people she considers friends.

Day to Day Life: Nill recently got a job at The Prancing Pony in Willow. She worked as a line cook in a pc-run bar in Meadowlark, and will promote herself to bartender (tavern wench?) at TPP. Otherwise, she's out doing a lot of foraging and mild exploring, but hasn't yet branched out into visiting areas outside Willow and The Lakes.

Current Mindset/Health: Nill is in fairly good physical health! She has spent a few years hopping between dimensions, so this is nothing new for her (except it's really all new). Her mental health took a pretty major hit during the last trial, which she expected and tried to prepare for, but didn't do a great job at. Reliving your worst memories sucks :(
Recent Developments: Nill relived some of her worst memories, and had at least one close friend witness them, which was pretty traumatic! She's never really talked to anyone about her past sa, and doesn't really know how to. Also, her bestie from her own world arrived, which is the silver lining in a shitty month. You might've seen a gangly albino man lurking around her burrow now and then. Don't worry, he only bites sometimes (but very violently).
Goals For Your Character: Long-term goals include having her realize that making friends is okay, even if they might not stay around forever. She also needs to realize that it's okay for HER to ask other people for help, instead of only being the person other people ask. She'll also probably slowly take up training with knife-fighting again, and might be convinced to have a sparring partner or two.
Problems With Your Character: Having recently learned about the bond a Myth/Legend can make with a Familiar, she is sort of not pumped for that! Nill is a private person, and values her personal autonomy. The idea of linking up psychically (and perhaps physically) with someone is scary for her (because of the Trauma), and it'll take some work for her to be okay with doing so. At this time, she has pretty much decided to Never Do That.

Wanted CR: Anything! Nill still struggles with having Feelings™, and is prone to getting attached to other people pretty quickly even if she tries not to. She's a friendly person, and likes to help out other people whenever she can. Any kind of family figures (parental, cool aunt, siblings, weird cousins, etc.) are welcome. She has a tendency to latch on to people who make her feel safe, so anyone who might do that would be cool. Also someone to (awkwardly) smooch, because she's got Emotions and doesn't know to express them.

Character Details: He has a soft Virginian accent and he's deaf in his left ear.
Character Summary: Adam's a psychic (which means he can scry into the beyond, join dreamers in dreams, feel ley lines, and accurately use tarot cards). He's generally soft-spoken and doesn't usually raise his voice, but he has issues with his temper and a lot of other things. Like accepting help from people. He can be sassy, sarcastic, and unintentionally cruel, but he's a good bean and cares a lot about people.

Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: In the future, Adam will be sprouting demon horns (design TBD still), a tail, and some fangs. None of those have started yet though. Probably next month. That said, once he learns more about what being a Myth means and he starts growing horns, etc, he'll be a little upset. I'm interested in exploring Myth and Legend things and Adam grappling with being labeled 'bad' and what that means to him.
Character Living Quarters: A cottage in Gram normally, though with the floods he's staying with Prokopenko and Kavinsky in their apartment until the end of the month.

Day to Day Life: Currently, Adam has been replaced with an au version because he caught a star. So he's been hanging around Kavinsky more than he normally would. Aside from that, he's working on getting his cottage back to livable, floors cleaned, etc etc.

Current Mindset/Health: Eternally confused, even as an au version of himself. He's more confident than normal and sharper, more prone to speaking his mind, and less flustered, until the end of the month.
Recent Developments: Well, he's most likely sleeping with Kavinsky because his au version is close to him, and gosh is that gonna be awkward for Adam when he returns to normal at the beginning of the next month.
Goals For Your Character: *dial-up noises* I'm not really sure. As previously mentioned I'd like Adam to explore what being a Myth means and that it doesn't automatically make him a bad person. I also have plans for him getting a boyfriend. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

Character Details: He's recently grown gray wolf ears that stick out of his hair
Character Summary: Prokopenko is a dream. Meaning, the real him died a while back and he was dreamed to life from Kavinsky's memories and understanding of him. Yes, Proko grapples with worrying about if he's still human or not a lot. No, he hasn't told anyone, ever. He can be a dick but he's pretty average for a teenage boy who's super into racing and parties and drinking and various drugs.

Character Role: Familiar
Character Role Deets: IDK, beyond the ears and turning into a wolf whenever he wants, things have been pretty chill for him. He's gonna eventually grow a tail, too. I would like to have him bond with a legend or myth eventually but that's a future thing still.

Day to Day Life: He might pick up a job in the future but currently he kind of just messes around/wanders/hangs out at the skate park.

Recent Developments: Well, he recently turned into a merman in a giant puddle, and I plan on that becoming a repeat thing for him that he learns how to control eventually.
Goals For Your Character: I'd love for him to become more confident in himself as a human being, make more friends, maybe people he can trust enough to tell them he's a dream.

Character Details: Nancy is pretty average. Nancy's a skinny, kinda gangly teenage girl with the most 80s hair imaginable. She's got kind of a wholesome look, overall, and dresses pretty conservatively.
Character Summary: Nancy is a nosy girl that is really interested in learning, spreading information, and she's got a pretty earnest desire to prove herself. She's been through a lot of terrible experiences like finding her best friend dead, fighting monsters, dealing with a secret Soviet plot beneath the local mall, and also navigating high school. She's nice, she's sweet, but she's also learned to fight, and she's a pretty ferocious girl.

Character Role: Legend
Character Role Deets: Nancy is definitely more the hero type, and I think that's kind of where her potential will wind up taking her. She's here to learn, to share what she's learned, and to protect her people. I'd like to explore her coming to terms with the fact that she's experienced a lot of crazy shit, but she's never really had the chance to process it with people that didn't also experience the same stuff.
Character Living Quarters: I'm going to say she's staying in Satori Hills right now, but that may change. I haven't really worked that out yet, so I am flexible.
Character Schools: She definitely goes to school. For right now, just Kuma Lisa, but she'll eventually poke her head into Baba Yaga.
