But why? I had only JUST learned how to use cursed energy back home, and that was because my mind had been purposely altered. It wasn’t even natural. I was just a normal human.

Maybe it has something to do with your "potential"? You can still use the energy here, right? Maybe that's translated into other abilities.

Maybe if you'd had more time, you could've done amazing things.

Yes, although I haven’t brought Moon Dregs our other than to show you. It’s only abilities are destructive so there’s not much use for it outside of fighting.

If I had more time, I would never have come here and met you. So I’m conflicted about that nowadays.

Zoos would call that animal enrichment wouldn’t they? If it’s really bothering you it’d make more sense for me to come over as a bat and catch it than use Moon Dregs.
