TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT

Welcome to Folkmore's monthly Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

I can promise you that you will not get stabbed.

Relatedly: what if I stab myself? By mistake. I did that with a fishing pole once.

Anyway, is the issue at hand then that you're less coordinated than you'd like to be, or that you would prefer me and my sword not be near you when you're enjoying yourself under trees?
no subject
Definitely the coordination part. I can enjoy the trees regardless of surrounding activities.
no subject
But, you know, like I said when we met: coordination can be taught. Anything can be taught! Swords certainly appear intimidating, but they're a tool like anything else. I believe very strongly that you are more than capable of learning to use one.
no subject
That's because you're a kind person who believes in everyone.
no subject
And just because I'm being kind doesn't mean it's not true! I was only four when I began my sword training, and if there is one universal truth about four-year-olds, it's that they're quite uncoordinated.
no subject
That is...very young. When I was four I was drawing on walls. Though I guess I knew how to do some other things. I could do my own laundry then.
no subject
You could really do your own laundry at 4 years old? That's quite impressive!
no subject
It's really very simple, and I was a very independent child. ["Neglected" is a more accurate word.]

[ MOOD.... only in Flynn's case by accident so like. slightly less extremely sad image. ]
no subject
Well, it'd probably be sort of useful if I learned how to fight. Or at least how to HOLD a sword. I would appreciate that very much, Flynn.
no subject
But no age is too late to learn how to use a sword! Let me know when you'd like a lesson, please! I'll find some space in my schedule. You won't regret it.
no subject
You're very difficult to say no to, especially when you're so earnest. All right, I'll elt you know.

Well, the machine is like a big barrel, so when you push the button it fills with water and spins around so the clothes get all soapy and cleaned.
no subject
That's incredible! What a great deal of work that must save... think of everything you could clean while the machine was washing everything.
Are these machines common, or expensive?
no subject
They're fairly standard in most houses now, except for very old ones. Some places have dryers too, but most people prefer to hang dry their clothes, still. My foster parents did. They liked the way it made the clothes smell.

Oh dear. I can remember autumns like that in my world too. It's nice that there are some similarities, even if everything else is so different.
