Yes, because that's a wonderful reason to do anything. But why only half a loaf? While you answer that and do this thing, I plan on getting rather drunk and hitting on the locals.

Yes, it’s only the bread. Seems okay from close inspection. It’s really warm so probably fresh from an oven or so? Doesn’t seem poisoned.

Come to think of it this is a really weird bet. It’s a bit hazy why they made it? I was drinking a lot at the time.

Hey, before you get too trashed. There's apparently some kind of dessert holiday drink here called eggnog? People were apparently trying to steal some, so can't be too bad?

[It isn't long at all before there is a faint glimmer of light from above. Vax'ildan looks the same as ever. The deathwalker's ward makes him a shadow in the sky. But the wings are different.

They're bigger and the feathers look like the sky at dusk. The faint glimmer of light comes from what would be the sun's final rays. He dives down and lands, sighing.] Last I remember, we were about to push into Emon and end Thordak for good.

[Vex looks around and rubs at her eyes. Her head is starting to really hurt. And the fact that she's here is kicking in, when she should be back in Whitestone.

When Vax's wings start to blot out the sun, she shields the rest of the light out with her hand and watches as he lands beside her. Then he says what he does and she has to think things over before she answers that.]

That...happened a while ago for me, Vax. Months ago.
