Sometimes history gets really shaped by the exact individual(s) involved in a thing. Sometimes it doesn't matter so much. Someone would do it. You gotta somehow judge when's which. Not from that ego point of view. Simple practicality of the consequences of your actions.

IDK the case here. I'm not even sure WHY you're going to the moon? I mean, moons are perfectly chill celestial bodies and all. Going to space, big fan. So many people here never been to space. But why was it worth getting stuck as a lug of moon rock for who knows how long?

Ah, well we've gone already I'm just saying even now some years later, Gen still holds it against me. The parasitic AI that petrified our planet in full was on the moon. They were misguided at best. One of them decided to stay and see what humanity can do.

We needed to stop them from trying to petrify us over and over again. Once they saw we were up and moving, they tried to do it again.

Yes, yes, Chrome is the best. I gave him two days off for Taiju's wedding.

That was probably the only thing he really hasn't forgiven me for.

Taiju doesn't work for me anymore, I dunno what he did. Gen doesn't work for me either technically. Technically he's Ryusui's problem. I took a whole day off for Taiju's wedding, I couldn't spare two.

I'm sure I will hear about it until the end of our days sometime in the future. We'll be retired and he'll be bringing it up again. Remember that time you wanted to be a moon rock? I already know.

Ha. Well I enjoyed being in space, but I didn't enjoy the training required before and after, and I think that I enjoy making rockets more than I enjoy all of that.

Right right. Well if I marry Gen I guess he can pick however long he wants me to take off.

Presumably, but it's hard to say. I might not. Ha. I don't think five years is long enough for him to find it funny. Maybe in another decade.

Unexpected death is one way to get around retirement, but I don't recommend it. Mmkay, mmkay, give it some time. How about a robot?

You must be from a future that has seen further progress in the space program than our rather rudimentary ways now. It was not as simple as just sitting in a chair. Especially when our comms broke down and I had to fix them. The effect of space on the human body is enormous.

The Nine Houses are all on or orbiting nine different planets. That's before you even leave the Dominicus system. So yeah, we're a ways beyond that. P.S. don't go into the vacuum of space without a space suit. It's bad for your health. I was sort of about to have to do that when I came here. Folkmore sounded better.

On the other hand, it would be great if you two got married every year! Come on! Show the love!

Bet you could build a freaky cool looking robot costume that would fit you AND work as a robot when you aren't in it.

Don't encourage him, he'd probably do it too. Something about getting cake out of the deal. Like I can't make him cake.

I've never actually done that, six year old dreams aside. I definitely could.

I do okay, Francois really put me through my paces. I'm better at cooking than baking.

Not at the moment. I need manual labour, but I have Gen and Tsukasa for that.

Oh I do, I always need more, but I just get Gen to strong arm people into it.
