Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

Well, it's not like I'm gonna leave you here, so whatever. [He turns and crouches down in front of her, offering up his back.] Climb aboard! Oh, and tell me where you live, because I actually don't know.

To Lapine, then! Hey, you texted him too, right?

I told him I'd be home soon? [ Granted, it wasn't through text but their telepathic bond but that's kind of the same thing, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, totally. (Never mind that was probably an hour ago). ] I didn't tell him about my catbus stalker, though. [ She casts a paranoid look around them, searching for those eyes. HMMM, seems as if they're safe. For now. ] Think I should've?

[Whatever that would entail.]

What do you think vampire-ing it up looks like, Zack?

No rawr'ing, no baring his teeth, his omen is a bat, and coffins are a sometimes thing. A very cozy sometimes thing. [ Yes, she sleeps in the coffin, too. She used to need the lid to stay open but she adjusted quickly, especially after her death in Trench.
Oh, but wait a second... ] You found a guy in a coffin? Was it, like, a dead guy? Because that's where they're usually supposed to be.

[We don't talk about Vincent Valentine's life choices, okay.]

It's not long before the burrows come into view. Little hills dotting the landscape, some of the windows glow, others have little porch lights radiating warm yellow light. Sharon leans against his back to point out her own home. There's a neat little garden and a pathway of stones leading from the road to the large round wooden door. ]

[He laughs.
At her direction, he jogs them up to the house, halting at the front door so she can climb down. If she wobbles at all, he'll help steady her drunk ass.]
Here we go, home sweet home!

Thanks for the ride, Zack! [ And then she shuts the door (it's slammed, she accidentally slammed it because he can hear her on the other side go "OOPS!" and then continue to shout "Mayerling, I almost got eaten tonight!" with all the enthusiasm of a drunk person getting ready to recount a tale. Inaccurately.
The next day he'll get a text from her thanking him profusely for the rescue and a promise to do the same for him if he ever needs it. She could carry Zack, no problem (probably). ]
