[ She snapped her relic shut when he approached and slipped it into a pocket as she stood, offering him a soft, easy grin. ] It's nice to meet you, Soma. [ She gestured with her head in the direction they needed to go before she began to guide them to the local tavern. ]

So... [ Conversational and curious, gaze on him. ] Why'd you want the conversation to be private?

[ Soma fell easily in step with her, hands in his pockets, his gaze focused on the path ahead. A serious, thoughtful look was on his face, trying to parse how he was going to answer. ]
