I'd be really boring to haunt. It's all studying and plant stuff, mostly.

Ugh. I don't know anything about that. What about sparring? Do you spar?

Sometimes. I know how to use a knife, and I don't want to forget. But I don't really have anyone to practice with, so I usually just go into the woods and practice the motions.

Oh in that case you can practice trying to stab me! I can't give you technique lessons, not really, Yuta probably could though. But I can dodge.

But you know, I wouldn't mind having a real person to practice with. Trees aren't really the same.

Nope they wouldn't be. I need to get into sparring, I'm coming off a serious injury and I need to fix my skills back up anyway.

Me too, around here anyway. No one seems to get my rice ball language like my friends at home did. Jedao's teaching me some signs but that kinda only helps me talk to him and Yuta.

Nah. It'd be my fault, for being good with a knife.

I don't know what rice ball language is, but I know how to sign. It's a mish-mash of stuff I've picked up over the past few years.

Ha! That'd work too.

I have to speak in safe words. I only have about ten of them and I kinda try to get my meaning across. It's fine in conversation usually, but conveying something and starting a conversation not so much.

Jedao's teaching me and because I keep doing it, partly because it's becoming a habit, Yuta's picking it up.

I don't know what my ancestors would've done. I'm thankful for the internet or I'd never get to talk to anyone.

Same here. Being able to text opened up a whole new world for me. I was only able to do yes-or-no for so long.

Yeah, mostly yes or no. My classmates can get a few other things with gestures and different words.

The signs are gonna be a whole other thing. It's kind of awkward to write messages and show people all the time when we're face to face.

I could teach you too, if you wanted. I've been teaching some of my friends.
