Some say that a child being force sensitive at all means consent. But from what I vaguely remember, it’s what I wanted. It’s always what I’ve wanted. To be a Jedi. I’ve not known any other younglings who didn’t either.

To answer the question. This Jedi Order doesn't sound that much like a cult. Not anymore than my group of Mandalorians.

He...was a Jedi that was traveling with me, when Thirteen pulled me here. [He's not COMPLETELY lying. He's just mixing up details a little, cough.] He'd mentioned being trained at a temple on Coruscant.

No. [A little agitated and defensive on his end. Rude Obi-wan.] I'm a bounty hunter by trade. But I do not hunt or kidnap children.
A Jedi told me he was hidden and taken from the temple. I don't know who or how.
I found him, as I was paid by a client to bring in an asset. All the client would tell me was his age and last known location. No name, no picture. When I found him he was in an encampment run by Nikto mercenaries. No idea how long they'd had him, or if they were the ones that took him from the temple.
I think he must be some long lived species. As he is 50 years old, but he acts more like a young toddler. I didn't know how...young he actually was until I found him. [Because of course Din had assumed he was hunting a fully grown person.]

Despite there not being many of you left. I kriffing found one of you, and he promised he'd train and protect the kid. [And Din was convinced to let them be, despite wanting to make sure he was safe.]
I left it at that, because it was the best thing for him. However, for reasons I don't know. Two cycles later, they sent him back to me.

In my time, I've been told the Jedi Order fell a long time ago. When the empire rose to power. Before you three showed up here, the kid and two others were the only Jedi I'd met back home. [Although did Grogu really count as a Jedi? Din right now didn't care. The kid had powers like Jedi apparently had. That makes him a Jedi to Din.]

[Obi-Wan is now visibly shaken, the color having drained from his face, clearly unsure what to do with this information. He didn’t have all the pieces but enough were coming together that it seemed something was not right.
