Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

Also kriff this texting nonsense, he's switching this to video. If he's going to be accused of being a child stealer. Then Obi-wan's accusing him to this face.]
I did return him to his people. [Which hurt like fuck, he cried okay? Shut up. But right now, the modulated voice just sounds borderline angry and defensive. You poked the Dadalorian bear, Obi. Watch what you say.]
Despite there not being many of you left. I kriffing found one of you, and he promised he'd train and protect the kid. [And Din was convinced to let them be, despite wanting to make sure he was safe.]
I left it at that, because it was the best thing for him. However, for reasons I don't know. Two cycles later, they sent him back to me.
Video
So it’s an even expression Din gets when everything is switched to video. What he says though breaks that calm. Shock and confusion now crossing his face.]
What do you mean there’s not many of us left?

In my time, I've been told the Jedi Order fell a long time ago. When the empire rose to power. Before you three showed up here, the kid and two others were the only Jedi I'd met back home. [Although did Grogu really count as a Jedi? Din right now didn't care. The kid had powers like Jedi apparently had. That makes him a Jedi to Din.]

There’s that mention of an empire again.]
That… that can’t be true. The Jedi have been around for a thousand generations. They wouldn’t just fall.
[He normally wouldn’t question the word if a Mandalorian, but he did just catch Din in an untruth. Surely he was lying to him now too.]

I was told of the fall by one of your fellow Jedi. Not one of the Jedi here, but one I met back home. [Because he's not about to throw Ezra and Cal under the space bus.] Do Jedi tend to lie?

[Obi-Wan is now visibly shaken, the color having drained from his face, clearly unsure what to do with this information. He didn’t have all the pieces but enough were coming together that it seemed something was not right.
The young Jedi opens his mouth as if to say something, but can’t quite seem to get it out. Instead he just ends the connection.]
