now, I don't wish to disappoint you - but while I'd easily take the medal for being the most sober in a given party, I wouldn't be a *good* influence per se

though that also depends on your perspective. some people simply need to let go once in a while, reach outside of their comfort zones!

People do need to leave their comfort zones. Drunk isn't always the best state for that.

it isn't always, but if they're going in that direction ... sometimes people need to break a few eggs in their life in order to make an omelette

at least being sober means I can make sure they're not *important* eggs

Sometimes they only end up with broken eggs and decide never to break those eggs again. Eggs are a limited metaphor, but I believe the best experiences are those we choose for ourselves.

no offense had been intended, I assure you! as a teetotaler it *did* make my job as a diplomat rather difficult, so you have a leg up on me for your talent to blend in there ^_^

An entertainer and a diplomat. I can see how the skills to entertain would be useful. I would hope at least as an entertainer you enjoy the work you do.

Oh, I'm not bad, but mostly I spectate those.

If you can arrange to have some beverage similar in characteristic, save alcohol, that should help. Those who are drinking may not notice a difference between your bubbles and theirs.

I can get around kinda like that, but it's not really teleportation, more like a back door or something? Anyway don't recommend that.

I don't know, I think Xiggy could pull something like that off when he wanted to. It was still a portal thing though.

Portals and teleportation are closely linked. I suppose portals speaks to multiple worlds and the possibility of being stuck more profoundly if something happens.

Yeah it was a different kind of portal than mine, I think. The place I came from is split into so many worlds. It's just not a good idea if you have a heart.

I mean the darkness attracts shadows and they'll steal your heart. So it's not a safe thing to do if you have a heart. I don't have one, I'm a Nobody.

That answer only raises more questions. Is the darkness part of the portals? When you say you don't have a heart, is that literal or metaphysical?

Not just the portals, all over the worlds, but yeah.

And...kinda? It's a part of me. Like well, okay, Somebodies are made up of three parts. Mind, body and heart right. So if you lose your heart, the person splits into a shadow and a Nobody. But uh, most of them are not like me. I was kinda made one intentionally, so like my consciousness is mostly there?

I don't really know. I'm not a science guy and I can't listen to Xemnas ramble. Puts me to sleep.

If a Nobody has Mind and Body, shouldn't their consciousnesses always be there? As mind?

Pardon my ignorance, but I would say you have a lot of heart, of feeling, from our short interactions. It makes it... hard to understand what this means.
