Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, partake in character relationship memes and open up our invites for the upcoming application cycle!

One of the changes we are implementing today is the brand new Event suggestion and Player Plot page, which can be found in the Game Navigation from now on. If you have any events you'd like to suggest, or perhaps run a plot on your own, use that post. We would be happy to hear your ideas!
Finally, we are happy to announce the Game Feedback post! We would like to hear what you think of the game so far, possible changes you'd like to see, or perhaps any issues you would want to see addressed. This post is open to our playerbase, and with it we hope to make Folkmore a game everyone can enjoy.

Upcoming Weather for December
As we enter December, all the glitter from November starts to fade away, but the shinning stars remain, leaving the night sky bright all through the month. Kuma Lisa is still the current iteration of Thirteen, however characters will often see her in her Fox form that has now turned pure white to match the snow that covers most of the land (with the exception of Cruel Summer).
The giddy effects of Kuma Lisa are replaced with a calm and peace that Star Children might find comforting. It's more clear now that the nights are much longer than before, and the cold outside makes Star Children want to cuddle up with someone to keep warm. Despite the cold, however, the night will feel always beautiful and peaceful. Every night paper lanterns will be released to light the streets and stores all around Folkmore; these will magically remain in place until the end of the night, rather than floating away. When the day comes, they will rise up and disappear.
The days, in contrast, will feel a bit more grey and listless. There won't be a lot of light and everything seems a lot slower than usual, lacking the spirit of the night. Star children may feel a bit more depressed than usual but if they reach out to others this feeling may be eased.
As a reminder: the Anti-Hero trial is still on going until January 1st.

Character Details: There’s a pic of his current status on his ic contact but basically: dog ears + tail all the time, glittery even after glitter season. Blind in one eye. Antler tattoos on inside of forearms. Sirius constellation tattoo on his chest.
Character Summary:
A CRAU transplant from Deerington/Deer Country, he hails from a universe where humans live on various planets connected by trains that can travel in space. He was an officer of the Space Defense Force onboard one of the trains designed to protect passengers, just as his late father was.
Since then, he’s been through the wringer. Despite efforts to remain hopeful and determined, he’s a much more muted shade of himself, demoralized by the nature of this place and a belief he isn’t even truly himself anymore. It’s gonna be a process to accept the him he is now.

Character Role Deets: He now CONSTANTLY glitters. Inescapable glitter. It spreads. You cannot escape it.
He also still shifts form involuntarily when he sneezes or gets startled.
Character Living Quarters: Standard living area is in Willow, but has since transplanted to Epiphany for anti-hero arc.

Day to Day Life: Typically prone to accepting odd courier and fixit jobs; as long as he can do some kind of productive activity, he can be moderately content.
Current Mindset/Health: DISTRESS. He is a ghost watching a younger-minded variant of himself amble around all wide-eyed and untouched by the CRAU horrors. Unreality intensifies.

Monthly Pacing: My usual pace is always all over the place! my tagging speed varies a lot, and I do not apologize for slowness and late tags. I work full time, I do art, there is always some RL stress - RP is for fun and to relax, and not the opposite. I may spend some days without tagging because of it. Naturally, if you prefer a faster tagger, it's totes fine!

Character Species: Half-ghoul
Character Details: Anything unique about them to immediately know? Maybe that they have a prosthetic, details about their voice, etc.
Character Summary: Eyepatch on the left eye. For first impressions, check here.
Character Role: Familiar
Character Role Deets: Kaneki can turn into a centipede. He has a half-form that allows him to turn into a huge centipede-boy and also a full centipede form anywhere between 12 and 40cm. Kaneki hates his familiar form so I'm always up to have people interact with it more so he doesn't feel so grossed out. He can also turn into a stubby squid if submerged by water/liquid, but this form doesn't have half-forms. More details about the familiar form check here.
Character Living Quarters: Dirk's ranch in Cruel Summer
Character Schools: Kuma Lisa, mostly taking literature classes. He also takes few classes over Agrona to learn how to fight better.
Day to Day Life: Kaneki spends a lot of time over Dirk's ranch, however he goes to school every day and likes to spend time at the library there as well. Because he cooks for Dirk, he also spends a lot of time looking up recipes and getting ingredients. he and John run a tiny stall where they sell baked goods (by john) and coffee/latte art (by ken); he is also willing to deliver home-made meals and coffee to whoever asks. And OF COURSE!!! Cooking lessons (: Also, given he is scared of his ghoul side and his familiar form as well, sometimes Kaneki just goes out into the woods or secluded areas to train or transform when he is alone.
Current Mindset/Health: Surprisingly okay! Very happy too. He has a boyfriend (who is his Myth and his soul mate) and it has been a really healthy relationship for him. Sadly Kaneki always ends up falling back into doubt and fear, so that kind of plagues him all the time - he is afraid of not being real since in their world, a version of them was left there; he is afraid this is all a made up lie by the Fox and he is afraid there is something nefarious going on.
Recent Developments: He and Sunny became brothers (adoptive!), and at the end of the month we probably will have that officially happening. Some people found out he is a ghoul and the world didn't end, which was cool!
Goals For Your Character: To eventually bite someone because of course.
Problems With Your Character: Not a lot right now, mostly it's always hunger related.
Wanted CR: I really want to get him settled with CR Kaneki can trust enough to open up more. He is introvert, has a very hard time getting close to people despite being nice to everyone and so I want him to meet others he can talk to, feel close to and be with. because Kaneki without people to rely on is like someone spiraling down he is terrible at being alone; kaneki has a lot of trauma going on and he is a sad boy who tries his hardest to be kind and gentle towards e v e r y o n e. He is very VERY lonely too, and while he has a hard time connecting to other people, he just wants to be loved.
- Non humans: Non humans, monsters, and alike. Negative or positive, it's all good.
- Monster hunters or people who'd not like to know there is a cannibal around GUESS WHAT MY ARMS ARE OPEN (kaneki's not so much )= )
- Manipulation~ basically Kaneki is way too fucking nice and while that's!! great!! it also means there is a big chance here to manipulate this boy. Kaneki is easily manipulated and makes some bad choices in life; I'm 100% okay with someone making use of that.
- Mentors, parental figures, FAMILY. oh boy do you know how desperate kaneki is for those please adopt him
- Friends because FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC even when your friend eats people so basically be his friend pls
- Big brother. Kaneki likes children and is willing to adopt younger kids and take care of them!
- Training, because kaneki really wants to get stronger and get a hold of his powers better
- Extroverts! Someone to get him out of his shell. Look, I admit, it will be hard, he is a wallflower, but that of course means he needs someone to push him around and get him to do silly stuff
- BOOK CLUB. Kaneki loves books, if you mention them, get ready for him to nerd at you nonstop
- PHILOSOPHY TIME? Philosophy time. If anyone wants to have a more deeper conversation about nature and what makes someone a "person" he is your guy too. He has been transformed into a ghoul and then into a squid and then back into a ghoul THERE ARE A LOT OF FEELINGS HERE. Kaneki is also the epitome of loneliness and trauma, and he just... really is desperate for a connection, but tends to be quite nice towards those who feel the same as he do.
- Trauma train! Kaneki has SHIT LOADS of trauma, from parental trauma to dating trauma (last pretty girl he went on a day with tried to eat him), to loneliness, abuse, torture, etc, etc etc. Kaneki does not think he is traumatized but holy hell he is a mess. If anyone wants to try touching that - or even call out Kaneki on his denial - absolutely up for it!
- Healing magic!! Kaneki got a fancy new power in October and still needs to train it better.
- Plants, food, coffee and more! Kaneki has a greenhouse and does amazing coffee, it's always a good excuse to meet people.

Character Role Deets: Her wings are digital fae ones that if she concentrates on she can hide. Which between that and the loss of the AI who acted as her ID she is a bit distracted.
Character Living Quarters: In the apartments
Character Schools: If someone could convince her to she'd probably go to a school, but right now not so much
Day to Day Life: Ruri is trying to map the area, though mostly she's doing this to distract herself.
Current Mindset/Health: She misses her AI, she's not exactly in a good mental place, but hell will freeze over before she admits this.
Recent Developments: While she doesn't believe in magic, she aquired very simple lightning magic (Like the opening of Big Trouble in Little China at the Law office and that's it) and this has her every exasperated.
Goals For Your Character: I would love CR. Maybe people her age as she has almost no experience with that.
Problems With Your Character: Ruri tends to be passive. People suggest her to do things and she does them. No one is demanding anything from her, annoying her into doing things, or suggesting ideas. She's lost. The map is just because she really doesn't trust any of the data here.

Character Age: 21
Characer Species: Human
Character Details: Kaeya is a tall tan skinned man with an eyepatch that wears flashy clothes. He never wears his shirts all the way closed. He talks in word dances when he isn’t being direct. He often has a smile on his face.
He walks like a swordsman with the fluid strides of a man used to moving fast. Dark blue hair is marked with a shock of paler blue and to those with magic senses he eludes ice and water magic.
In other shapes he is often dark blue with stars on his fur/feathers/scales.
Character Summary: Kaeya is a knight captain used who willingly works with bandits and thieves. He spins threads of information and political contacts.
Causally friendly and seemingly relaxed he navigates social waters fairly easily. He pays attention to fine details and likes good alcohol. But he is a good friend to have that knows how to take a joke and give as good as he gets.
Character Role: Familiar,
Character Role Deets: Kaeya tends to flip between forms as it suits him. He prefers wolf. I’d like him to keep exploring werewolf and the simple joy of being a creature.
Character Living Quarters: Lapine with Diluc. They have a garden and a horse barn around their home.
Character Schools: He teaches and is a student at Baba Yaga.
Day to Day Life: He spends a lot of time these days studying magic and the mysteries of the land. Sometimes he runs through the forest as a wolf or flies over it as a car sized dragon.
Current Mindset/Health: In some ways he is settling in and making Folk his home. He has started to build up his contacts. He has found a job he is enjoying. The libraries sees him often. He is rather happy despite all the weird.
Recent Developments: Kaeya and Diluc have become entirely set on each other romantically. But Kaeya’s personal development is he has become a professor and an archivist of the history of his people.
Goals For Your Character: I have goals for him to open up to people. To help their stories and his by mutual bond. I want him to become more and more comfortable, start making this place somewhere he feels is a place he wants to be.
Or at least, to help those who want to be more comfortable.
Problems With Your Character: He is still struggling with all the baggage that comes from being left somewhere. And the messy past he has had. Trust issues and the like.
Wanted CR: new friends, deeper bonds with old friends, fellow students of magic, students in his classes, fight buddies etc.

Character Summary: Yelena is a fighter. She uses humor and familiarity to throw people off their games. She is a brat but in a good way. She will also die to protect her family, which in-game currently consists of Natasha and, most likely, Clint.
Character Role: Familiar
Character Role Deets: Yelena is currently developing Russian Terrier ears. She also has a Russian Terrier that follows her around. I would love her to learn more about her abilities and actively train with them.
Character Living Quarters: With Natasha and Clint
Character Schools: She teaches at Agrona and attends Baba Yaga
Day to Day Life: Yelena runs every morning. She either teaches or goes to school during the day. On her days off, she can be found in the shops or just exploring.

Goals For Your Character: I just want Yelena to have a good support system in game, whatever that will look like.

Character Age: 32
Characer Species: half elf
Character Details: A slightly tall blonde woman with pointed tips to her ears and a voice that sounds like this. There is always a peregrine falcon in the vicinity of her, if not riding on her shoulder. Sometimes she speaks to the bird and looks as though she understands it.
Character Summary: Christine was an alchemist and magical healer in one of the three major city-states of the continent of Idan. These cities were each ruled by one of three dragon brothers who by their nature slowly ensorcelled their populations to love and worship them. As a dragon's greed for wealth and power only grows as they age, the dragons went to war to conquer one another's cities and Christine joined the war as a healer. In the last great battle she was struck down on the battlefield and that should have been her end, only one hundred years later her bones were approached by a hooded figure who resurrected her. As part of this awakening, Christine's soul had to be split between herself an a magically created animal, hence the bird. As necromancy is forbidden magic in Idan and she doesn't know who did it or why, she's been keeping her Awakening to herself while trying to find answers as to what her purpose now is.

Current Mindset/Health: Overall good, but her soul is currently being shared between herself and an animal companion so if anything happens to the bird, her health would deteriorate fast.
Recent Developments: The recent Trial was pretty kind to her, but she considers that dumb luck and nothing more. She'd be interested in gathering info on what has happened to people during Trials.
Goals For Your Character: To try and find what her purpose is.
Problems With Your Character: She's a compassionate, kind figure, but she worries too much and tries to mother everyone. I would prefer it if she made some close friends here!

Characer Species: Human (cursed)
Character Details: He wears a half-mask on the right side of his face, but there's a blue-black mark that runs from under it at his jawline and down his neck to his collar. Unless otherwise stated Dainsleif will not have much skin on show and will always be wearing gloves. He dislikes being touched, particularly unexpectedly, and will generally pull away from it if it happens. His pupils are shaped like a four-pointed star.
Character Summary: Dainsleif is human but cursed (by his world's gods) with immortality amongst other things, and is slowly but very surely turning into a monster. The curse causes constant pain and he is aware of it moving through his body, and he occasionally uses Folkmorian tea to self-medicate this. He's the former Knight Captain of the Royal Guard of the fallen kingdom of Khaenri'ah, and bears a great amount of guilt for his various failures during the Cataclysm that destroyed it. He has no patience for gods or people/things acting like gods, so one can guess how he views Thirteen.

Character Living Quarters: Lapine
Day to Day Life: Before Folkmore the majority of his time was spent hunting and getting in the way of the Abyss Order. Without that he does feel very much at a loose end, but he has found that relaxing and taking time for himself does not disagree with him as much as he would have expected. He spends some time during the week with Kaeya Alberich, teaching him about long lost Khaenri'ahn history/customs and correcting his use of their language. Taking up some kind of teaching in swordplay would suit his mindset, so he may look to that next.
Current Mindset/Health: Though still unsettled he is more at ease than he was when he arrived. At the moment he's dealing with some Complicated Emotions which, of course, he's not telling anyone about.
Recent Developments: Aside from finally getting some Action for the first time in 500 years there isn't much by way of development. Just how that particular thing will play out is still ongoing, but it has made him reflect on his habits of how he hides the marks of the curse.
Goals For Your Character: Goals-wise I am looking for some friendships that he can deepen with other people, particularly ones that will - while not outright challenging his perspectives - lead him to see things in different ways. He's been doing the same thing for a long time and is very single-minded about it. I do want him to learn to cook at some point! He can cook... but that really depends if you would say that making something mostly edible counts as cooking.
Problems With Your Character: Dainsleif has been very solitary for a very long time and struggles to befriend anyone past a surface level because there's just A Lot Going On With Him. Persistence is definitely needed and I know some people aren't about that, but his IC attitude definitely doesn't reflect my OOC attitude! The man needs friends. Right now he's very much struggling with feeling displaced and it does lend itself to him being waspish.

Day to Day Life: Flynn's a busy boy taking a lot of classes and getting up the courage to be a fighting instructor at Agrona. Current Mindset/Health: Flynn's doing a little better than he has been because he has a goal again: he wants to learn as much as he can here, deconstruct his own ideas of right and wrong, and take all that home with him. That's his goal and he'll do anything to achieve it.
Recent Developments: Flynn has been informed that he can, in fact, go home, or at least he can in theory, and that's huge for him. Also Yuri got back from a canon update and he died several times. He's feeling... just a bit shaky
Goals For Your Character: I want Flynn to stop trying to be perfect. He needs to let go of the stories that he tells about himself and about how the world works, let his proverbial hair down, let himself be a 22-year-old instead of an almost-leader of an Imperial military.
Problems With Your Character: Flynn has no idea how to do any of that. He's wrapped up in what he thinks he should be and what he thinks he should aim for, and he's wrapped himself so tightly in those things that unpicking them is really, really hard. He needs help with it, for sure!

Character Details: Eren doesn't tend to have a lot of outward expression (which is WILD considering he was super expressive when he was just a few years younger, but ya boy went absolutely off the deep end), but he's someone who tends to just seem dangerous. Even if you have no idea about the titan thing, he's just got that Vibe, you know? Underneath that stoicism he does still have way too many emotions, he's just like #repression or something idk. He's very intense, probably seems edgy, doesn't really care if you make fun of him. Basically he has to learn how to just be a person again. He's been coming out of that shell slowly and I'm looking for more reasons for him to be overly emotional bc I'm mean, but also he deserves it :')))
Character Summary: WHEW okay, Eren comes from a world where there are people with the potential to turn into titans (see above flesh mecha link), though most of them cannot do so voluntarily. The involuntary titans eat people. That is pretty much all they do! Eren was a soldier fighting titans, though PLOT TWIST (not really), he can actually turn into one himself. A bunch of awful horrible shit happens for a long time and then there's a time skip, and REAL PLOT TWIST, Eren stopped being the protagonist and became the antagonist. There's another absolutely bonkers plot twist that happens at one point and idk everything is truly horrific all the time forever ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
If you're like "hey Lyn that told me absolutely nothing about the plot of attack on titan" you're right and I'm sorry.
At the canon point he's from, Eren experiences time in a totally abnormal way so learning about his past is not always easy because he gets kind of confused or weird about the order of events. He's an extremely well-informed narrator but he's not necessary a reliable one, especially because he won't always tell the whole truth.
He's come around to the realisation that he misses having friends! He misses touching people after having spent like a year pretending to be an injured prisoner in a military psych hospital (this is actually WORSE than it sounds, I am sorry for attack on titan's everything).
Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: Eren doesn't have any permanent features, but his myth is the blue one myth. I haven't come up with anything story-wise to explore yet, though I'm CONSIDERING messing with this a la Bleach vizards. Haven't hashed that out yet in my head, but physical:
Sometimes if you look at him wrong you might see Eren's titan's features on his face (like these teeth), or his eyes will glow too green. Depending on the event I'll give him an oni mask (in either form; wow imagine a 50 foot tall blue oni! Like the titan wasn't scary enough lol!)
Character Living Quarters: Cottage in Gram because he's antisocial and also, you know, sometimes turns into a giant monster
Character Schools: Not his thing, though he could probably be convinced to attend one eventually.
Day to Day Life: This is the hardest question for me in RP since I tend to sort of gloss over slice of life things and go for the ~emotional meaty bits~ so he just does idk regular things. He's bad at being a person. He's fascinated with food, though, since he grew up with scarcity so he will try pretty much any food he can get his hands on here! It would not occur to him to get ?? A job ?? Hello, he's a weapon/soldier/full time crazy person, why would he think about a regular job? But maybe he'll pick one up at some point. He literally cannot imagine a world without war despite having lived in Folkmore for a few months so just the ins and outs of what it is like to not be a soldier fighting everyone? He has no idea.
He does also have a Yamask that he's not sure what it is or what it does but he's taking care of it all the same. Sometimes it floats around following him!
Current Mindset/Health: WELL, he's getting over a chronic case of "became the villain on purpose" and dealing with what it even means to be removed from the context that made him that way. Everything he's done his whole life has been very specifically rooted in where/how he grew up, so now he's just kind of directionless. It's a good place for him to be, much better than the entire way his canon ends, but ICly it's jarring.
Recent Developments: Thanks to talking to people about lore, and to some memory share stuff, he's coming around to thinking about what he even wants because all of that murder (that he didn't actually do yet back home but knows he will do) wasn't really what he wanted. What does he want? He has no idea! But at least he's starting to try to answer that question.
Goals For Your Character: Anything that pulls him out of his stupid bullshit and makes him have to confront the fact that he has feelings and so do other people is good for him. His "full potential" at home is a terrible nightmare, but he doesn't have to be that! He gets to experience actual freedom, which is something he's always been obsessed with, but what does that look like? How do you forgive yourself for things you did in a time loop that technically haven't happened yet but you know about? What does it look like to just exist, forgiveness aside? ALSO I'm down for people who find out about his back home stuff to be horrified or tell him it's fucked up etc. It doesn't have to be reassurance of "you don't have to be that way" bc he is already that way blah blah time loops
Speaking of making a choice to do unforgivable things back home, I'm down to explore hideous mistakes or whatever. Let him make a shitty choice or hurt someone or something! This is dependent on what kind of events come up obviously, but.
Also more people who have seen the titan transformation thing just to have reactions to it.

Problems With Your Character: Eren just is a problem tbh NO OKAY he has massive amounts of trauma from growing up in hell, and he shoved all his emotions in a box and hasn't really taken them back out again. Mostly he's just a big question mark. He could do with sharing some feelings but it's hard to get that out of him. He tends to share things about his world in bits and pieces, which is half because he doesn't think like a normal person and half because he's a manipulative pain in the ass like that and old habits die hard. I think maybe the only person who has gotten anywhere near close to the whole story out of him is Gideon.
Wanted CR: LISTEN, listen, I am always here to write trashy trash (the m/m kind mostly) and I'm not quiet about it so if you're here for the naughty stuff, let us talk. Otherwise, people who can pull Eren out of his nonsense even a little bit. That doesn't have to be gentle. People who will try to get him to have fun, to act like a teenager instead of whatever it is that he does instead. Other people who are/were violent, who can understand and deal with that, are always welcome too. He may not be A Villain now but he's a messed up person and he does tend to solve problems with violence, and that's not going to change overnight.

Also "new" (post-1718) tech is baffling to him, but he's learning in fits and starts because of all his modern friends, and because a kind soul helped set up his relic so he can just yell at it and it'll do reading/writing for him.
Character Summary: Imagine Blackbeard, but make it a pirate romcom but keep the fact that he's legitimately dangerous to other human people in and around alt-history 1717. Essentially he's The Baddest Pirate Of His Era, has recently been turned on to what it is gentlefolk are all about, and is plotting his retirement into that fancy lifestyle (possibly by doing a murder probably not but tbd like circle back on that).

Character Role Deets: He's spent his life literally cultivating this wild and violent aesthetic that already fits, but lately he's been growing horns about it. Also he's spent his life literally cultivating "being the villain" and was just recently confronted with Other Options, so living in that struggle is delicious to me.
Character Living Quarters: A (now solo) cottage in Gram.
Character Schools: His former roommate was dragging him to magic-type classes but he definitely quite post-vanishing.
Day to Day Life: Fight pits, because he's been hemorrhaging people who will punch him in the face and enjoy being punched in the face by him. He also haunts around food and tends to be randomly lounging in high places (particularly his own roof).
Current Mindset/Health: A MESSY ANGRY OLDER GENT WITH LESS OF A HANDLE THAN USUAL ON HIS RAGE ISSUES!! Also though he's moving sort of slow because he did get his buddy to stab him for a talent show (you know, very normal, as you do sort of things), and he's not 100% he trusts magic healing not to vanish abruptly and leave him in a bad way.
Recent Developments: His co-captain vanished! Also several of his good buddies here vanished at roughly the same time! He's sort of lashing out about it and maybe going to be a little possessive about current CR/mistrustful of new CR! Also also at least for a little while he's going to have been disembodied while the most condensed and violent version of himself runs amok, so people may not find him super chill and approachable just now.
Goals For Your Character: Confronting his own narrative! Edward has carefully curated himself into an idea that's bigger than a person. Time with his new canon bestie was beginning to make him question how much he actually is the idea vs a distinct human person and what all that even means for his life. Coming here has upped that ante because it's like! a key PvE question!! Now that his canon bestie is gone, he's regressing, but I'd like to keep pushing him into situations where he keeps grappling with who he's made himself into vs who he actually is vs who he could be vs who he wants to be. It'll require a lot of soft CR growth and also a lot of really ugly CR growth for his backsliding (so anyone who wants to be impressed into a ship that doesn't exist, apply here).

Day to Day Life:Reading all the magic books and info he can gets his hands on. Designing new machines and artifacts, and walking around Folkmore to map is so he doesn't get lost so often.
Current Mindset/Health: Physical health, good. Mental health...anxious. He's still getting used to Folkmore, and was kicked out of his body for a short while and turned into a ghost, only for whatever-that-was possessing his body to be an asshole to others. The experience has left Jayce a little distressed about who he might become if he doesn't watch himself, and since he lives in Epiphany, he also gets nostalgic often. Jayce could use help to stabilize his emotions, either from a willing familiar character or from anybody who would just be nice enough to talk to him.
Recent Developments: The aforementioned Anti-hero plot. Him twitchy.
Goals For Your Character: The long-term goal is about Jayce getting a forge and going back to focusing on creating things that can actually help others, whether using Hextech or not. The short-time goal is basically to keep building his CR.

Without his handler around to give him orders, K's been free to explore various hobbies and has gravitated toward creative outlets — like how he's been learning to play the piano for several months. So I think helping Jayce to create things in whatever capacity might be interesting too. Considering what K is, mathematics and science are well within his wheelhouse, so he probably wouldn't have trouble keeping up. Plus he loves learning.

Character Summary: Lorna is a mutant from a world where the world absolutely hates them. After a disaster involving mutants occured anti-mutant laws were put into effect that made it basically illegal to use your powers or just...be a mutant at all. She fought with the Mutant Underground to try to co-exist until she decided that co-existing probably wasn't actually going to ever work. While she dreams of a mutant homeland where they're free to just be themselves, she couldn't actually bring herself to sacrifice her own kind for that dream.
Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: She's got horns that are developing that are shaped like a pronghorn, similar to a headpiece she wore in 616 canon.
Character Living Quarters: She's actually found a place to settle down in Gram and is working on fixing that up. She does have really bad nightmares sometimes so if any neighbors want to say their metal shakes now and then or lightbulbs explode, feel free!
Character Schools: Got a job working at Baba Yaga's school and...badly helping people with their powers. Sometimes not so badly!
Day to Day Life: Due to how paranoid she is, she's spent a lot of time wandering around trying to learn as much as she can. She's also spending a lot of time at the school.
Current Mindset/Health: She's doing alright-ish all things considered. Kind of enjoyed the trials and being able to make it through them even without her powers. Very depressed over the holidays without her family though.
Recent Developments:The trials have given her some power enhancements more inline with her 616 counterpart that she's going to be curious to learn more about. She's also a mixed bag for how she feels about Thirteen. On one hand she gets the trials and how they were run, on the other it seems a bit harsh and she feels a bit like some vital information was left out.
Goals For Your Character: Learning more about her powers and the limits she may have, teaching more people who have powers and taking them under her wing as a big sister type figure, and building more friendships up!
Problems With Your Character: Lorna's just going to completely ignore any sort of problems and bitterness she may have, that's just how she is. She'll probably take her frustrations out on random pieces of metal she finds throughout Folkmore.
Wanted CR: People she can Big Sister in the Worst Way Ever. She's especially fond of people with powers or nonhumans, but humans who have definitely Seen Shit definitely work too. She's protective, supportive towards pushing people to just be themselves no matter what that means, and really openminded towards people's pasts/powers. She's very much the type to encourage someone to not hide parts of themselves no matter what those parts are. Some friends her own age would be great too, as well as people for her to actually talk to about the complexities of her life and the choices she made. People who might challenge her on if she actually made the right choices or not. Also potentially romance or a fling with someone who wouldn't mind that she's a complete and utter disaster with way too many issues. She's lonely. Sarcastic friends to be sarcastic with.

Character Name: Yuichiro 'Yuu' Hyakuya. Well. Yuichiro Amane really but he took the name of the orphanage that took him in.
Character Age: 16
Characer Species: Human/Namanari/seraph (it is complicated. Essentially he has never been entirely human, has the Seraph gene and can activate that/is slowly allowing Ashuramaru to take possession of him more and more in fighting.
Character Details: Yuu can go into demon mode with letting Ashuramaru possess him. If he goes the route of tapping into the seraph gene though (yay experimenting on kids!! That never ends badly!!) that is. Welp. Bad.
Character Summary: Yuu is a typical shounen protag. In that he is hot-headed, reckless, and has a hella lotta Issues. He was experimented on and called a demon spawn by his parents who tried to kill him by stabbing him and setting the house on fire. He was saved and taken to an orphanage at the age of eight. Then the apocalypse happened and the adults/older teens were killed by a virus. The vampries swooped in and took in the kids they could wrangle because they need that sweet blood supply to live, y'know. So Yuu spent four years with them underground before escaping (and losing the rest of his Hyakuya orphan fam in the escape attempt.) He was taken in and taught to kill vampires (yay revenge!!) since and is just barely starting to figure things out (starting to, because Plot) having reunited with one survivor of his orphanage fam (Mika his bff) who has been turned (hence how he survived.) He fights said vampires as part of the military, making use of Cursed Gear (weapons with a demon sealed inside of them, essentially).
Yuu loves cars, fighting, training and is starting to mellow out a hella lot compared to earlier early chapters (he spent years in Defense Mode in the aftermath of his escape, pushing everyone away because No Friends, he will Lose Them again!!) since he reunited with Mika and has learned again to open himself up more to accepting others. He is a reckless idiot (he ran at an escaped vampire with a wooden sword one time.....) and is p much willing to sacrifice himself at the expense of others/if it means he is Useful. Has hella issues over loss and thus also really has issues about wanting to be needed/useful to others. Basically.

First being, I could offer you Eda (legend) as a possible mentor and maybe even found family down the line. She is not the best teacher but she's been learning as she goes with her canon protege. The problem isn't knowledge, Eda has it in spades, but she's just sometimes a difficult person.

When he’s emotional, his emotions will be reflected through the cloud or with wind; such as if he’s angry the cloud will grow darker and rumble with thunder, or if he’s happy he will be accompanied with a small breeze.

Recent Developments: During the Anti-Hero trial, he was separated from his body, and the Dorian that people would have met during that time acted pretty arrogant and like he was too good for most things. Pretty much a rich spoiled brat, so that might be people's first impression of him. He might also still be separated from his body at this time
Goals For Your Character: Mostly I'd like him to open up to more people and just make more connections with people

Character Details: He rarely sounds sincere, even when he's being sincere. He also has very strong magic, and anyone who's able to sense that would most likely feel it in his presence.
Character Summary: Loki is the literal God of Mischief in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He's playful, flippant, chaotic, and tempestuous. He's strong, he's durable, and he's known as the most powerful magic user in Asgard (which doesn't technically exist anymore, but ya know).
Character Role: Myth
Character Role Deets: Loki is growing horns much like his helmet, but he hides them using his magic, most of the time (unless a mischievous fox decides to disable it)
Character Living Quarters: 22 Gram
Character Schools: He teaches conjuration and astral projection at Baba Yaga
Day to Day Life: Most days of the week, Loki can be found either in his classroom or his office at Baba Yaga. He also has a very nice collection of books in that office, so he's often reading. On the weekends, he spends time at the Prancing Pony as it's become a favorite.
Current Mindset/Health: While still adjusting to life in a place like Folkmore, he's acclimating rather well, making friends, and all around enjoying his time here, all things considered.
Recent Developments: Loki has gained a new ability from the Baba Yaga trials in October: he now has telepathy!
