It is, but I can't help wondering. I was already a vegetarian and I'm really glad about that, but this place is weird. So maybe the coffee wouldn't be sentient exactly, maybe it would be like plankton?

Why are you vegetarian? The coffee thing goes beyond it.
It started as a plant, which is alive. The whole undead/back from the dead aspect's the most concerning.

I am because rearing and killing of meat is helping to destroy the environment.
The Amazon is being destroyed to provide easy red meat to everyone else.
My dad doesn't seem to get my planetary concerns which is fine, I'll cook it for him, but eat it?
No way.
Besides, the spicy black bean vegan burgers are delicious.
I guess because more plants can always be planted?

You can definitely permanently kill plants.
At least here in Folkmore, that's not a concern.

That's what I'm afraid of.
I've been taking care of Sarah Black's spider plants since I was ten.
I know it's ridiculous, but it feels like if I let them die, she dies all over again.
I would absolutely love to see Sarah again.
What about you? Anyone you miss from home?

I'm not holding my breath. That's asking for disappointment.
Always been a career guy, so any family and friends would be welcome.

I'd love to see her again.
She'd be so proud of Rachel getting that scholarship to Berkley. As well as hoping for grandchildren with Rebecca.
I know she'd love how Jacob kept everyone and everything together after she passed.
Maybe someone will join you, too? It sounds as though you have a lot of people for the fox to choose from.
