Not at all. The cats are one of the best things about Folkmore.
Oh of course not. I totally didn't hear anything like that.
But if I did, I do wonder where that nickname came from.

It is, but that's not so bad sometimes, especially around cute animals.

Having a lot of spare time isn't so bad. I was busy where I was last too.
What was your world like if you don't mind me asking?

No. A warrior.
I guess, but I'm not sure what to do in my time other then obviously pursue him myself.
And my world was...bad.
Everything was dead, everyone except for the few survivors of the major cities and the tribes, given that they've been forced to undergo such migrations in the past.
I know it's ridiculous to claim kinship with America's tribes, but my penance has yet to cease, so it seems.

[Aether's well aware not all worlds are like Folkmore. There are places where poverty, war, sickness, and death hit much harder. His travels do not usually keep him in such words for long, due to the dangers, but he's aware of more worlds being like what is described than one like Folkmore.]

Now it makes sense why you have spare time here.
The worries and troubles of Folkmore are nothing compared to what you described.
I'm not sure how much it means coming from an outsider of your world, but I hope the people of the world have an easier and brighter future.

I worry about letting my guard down.
I was taught that to do so was inviting disaster.
And, thank you. For saying that.
I think we all hope for that.
I want it to actually happen.

I think there's a way to keep your guard up but also let people who really do care in.
It's not easy. We'll let people who hurt us in, but it's I rather experience that than never have any friends or anyone be alone.
I've gotten used to having friends but maybe that's just me. Not everyone is like that.

I assume I'll have to let some of the other thirteen in. Not just Nate, even though he's the one who has the final say.
The people here seem nice? It's been a good surprise. Most people I'd met back home were only interested in what I could do.
I'm not used to it.
How does a soldier stop being a soldier?
At least for a little while.

There are some nice people here. I like to think I'm one of them and my friends too.
I can't give you that answer, but maybe you'll find out while experiencing life here. Finding the answer for yourself will be rewarding than just being told.
