That's a fair assessment. I'm not the type to enjoy casual flings. Not to mention how often I've received bribes. It's difficult to trust the intentions of someone I don't know well.

I will start by saying it feels like Thirteenth has the power to rival or surpass Archons. Putting new magic in us like this. Magic that grows, no less. Of course this could all be an illusion and we don’t know it.

But thus far, everything I’ve seen and uncovered? It feels more the former than the later.

I see. I'd gotten that impression, about her. Few enough beings could be strong enough to create a space like this without wielding power to rival the gods.

Is she unkind?

They seem to think they know what is best. But, the road to the abyss is paved with good intentions.

She’s pleasant at least. But what happens when we reach our full potential and the details of that are unclear.

I see. I didn't get the impression that she harbored particularly ill intentions, but I can't know for sure. No doubt your judgment on her is more accurate than mine.

'Potential' seems a rather abstract idea.

I believe she isn’t malicious. But as we’ve just said, potential is an abstract. We have one idea of it. She has another.

We both have entirely different ideas of how to cultivate it.

Or put it another way. A storm is a storm. It brings life but it can also bring destruction just because of what it IS.

Yes, with all the implications that it brings. That’s my assessment.
