[He knows by now he's going to have to fly and use his elemental trace on to find him, but some clues can make this much easier.]

( hey aether did you just see a HUGE GUST OF MAPLE LEAVES IN A TEAL WHIRLWIND??????? there he is. there's kazuha )

[Using his elemental trace ability and flying close enough to the ground helps him find Kazuha, especially with that burst. It's like a beacon, and so he hones in. His landing this time is far better and smoother than when he first met Kazuha. His wings retract and he crouches down.]

Kazuha, it's me. Let's get you back to my place so you can rest and sober up.

[mapleleaves]

Eeheheehee... okaaaaaaaay. ( Kazuha rolls over in the grass, giggling incessantly, his face as red as the streak in his hair. when he pushes himself up on his elbows to look at Aether, he looks anything less than sober. ) I'll go back to your place ...

( he steps up on his feet, wobbling. and then he laughs suddenly. )

If you can catch me.

( and then suddenly - he turns into a fox AND RUNS AWAY )

[He thinks it'll be easy, just helping Kazuha and maybe fly him at a low level nad carry him back. Then he turns into a fox... familiars.]

Kazuha-! [It's a bit of a slow start, but Aether snaps into chasing him. He uses his wings to help balance him as he runs to chase after him.]

( oh this is just THE BEST TIME EVER!!! he's soooo drunk and the wind feels amazing flying through his fur! he activates his vision and propels himself ahead, scattering maple leaves behind him, with his paw prints on the grass leaving traces of anemo. even if Aether loses sight of him, he'll know where Kazuha is. chittering giggles can be heard while the fox continues to run, laughing between the intervals where he sprints with anemo. )

[Of course this would be his luck. It's like those commissions that should be easy but end up taking him across inazuma a nation to finish. Luckily, he's able to use his wings and his own anemo abilities to keep close enough that his elemental tracing isn't the only thing to go off.

Kazuha eventually will be tired before he gets tired, right?

Right....

He tries to grab his tail, but misses, slipping and falling a bit further behind. He still doesn't give up, getting back up to chase him.]

( he keeps Aether on the run for a good while longer, and the eventually... it falls quiet. a little too quiet. where has Kazuha gone? is he hiding somewhere? a simple answer to that question would be: yes. he is hiding, but with intent! eventually the unsuspecting traveller would come into his range, and then-- )

!! ( surprise!! there's a fox pouncing on you, Aether!!! )

[Aether has great stamina, but even then, chasing after a fox that has anemo abilities is far harder than just a regular fox or animal. He starting to breath harder to keep up his pace when-]

Wha-!!

[He's pounced on, and he doesn't even have the time to retract his wings. He sighs, deeply.]

When you sober up, I wonder what you'll think of this all...

( the fox just chitters and giggles, swishing his tail behind him in an excited wag. )

Ehehe! Traveller ... ( sniff sniff ) You smell ... shoooo good. My nose in this form is fifty timesh better than my human nose. I can smell all of you. ( more sniffing. is he targeting Aether's bare tummy? yes he is. with that cold, wet fox nose of his. tickle tickle. ) All of your scents all at once, they're so powerful ... ( aaaaaaand he's purring. did you know foxes can purr, Aether? well now you know! )

[He smelling is harmless at first, but then he starts smelling his stomach and that's a rather sensitive spot. He has no idea what to make of a fox who is actually Kazuha rubbing and purring against him like this.

All right, enough of that. Kazuha had his fun. Aether sits up, grabbing a hold of him.]

Come on, let's head back to my place. I'll get you one of Albedo's sobriety potions and then you can sleep this off.

[He stands up, still holding onto Kazuha, which isn't that easy. He extends his wings out. He'll have to fly low and not too fast, but it'll be faster than walking.]

We'll be flying, all right? So hold onto me.

( Kazuha chitters out a bunch of Very Strange Sounds when Aether picks him up and carries him ... why is he so weird...............

the entire time they fly, he keeps making them. WHY IS HE LIKE THIS. KAZUHA YOU ARE THE WEIRDEST DRUNK?????

but it's amazing being on the wind like this. so, please assume they're gargled screams of ecstasy due to the fun of flying through the air and feeling the wind in his fur!!! )
