TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT

Welcome to Folkmore's monthly Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

But he also isn't wrong, and Stephen's running over the possibility of it before he can fully finish thinking what I was getting at. It's an interesting thought experiment after a couple of glasses of whisky and half a glass of red wine. ]
It's the roles that have done it to others, but to replicate a similar effect... at the very least I could summon something or generate a temporary construct around whatever's already there.
[ Sure, why not spend the evening contemplating sex magic. ]

The kind of delicate work that would benefit from your medical expertise, I'm sure. It also stands to reason that learning to replicate the effects of Thirteen's magic may enable you to better counter it in the future.
Or it could lead to being inundated with requests to modify other residents' genitalia, but I'm going to assume you're sharing this in confidence.

Thanks for posing an interesting question. My Friday night was looking pretty dry.
[ He didn't do it on purpose but he did do it and that deserves some recognition. The point about Thirteen's magic is nice little justification for some eventual trial and error. ]

Always glad to be of service. Out of curiosity, is this something you intend to actually experiment with?
[ Is it purely impersonal academic curiosity or android flirtation? That's the fun thing about text, it's anybody's guess. ]

[ ... huh. ]
Why? Hoping to keep up to date with the research?

[ Referring to Kyle, of course. It's oddly amusing and adorable how he's more enthusiastic about mundane medicine than the magic. Maybe accomplished doctors are just a rarity in his home universe? ]
As a Familiar, my entire body undergoes radical changes every time I take on the form of an animal. I've found I can even become mythological creatures that never actually existed where I'm from. It's unclear what limits there may be. I'm also very curious about how Thirteen has altered you and the limits of your own abilities. So you could say I have a personal interest in this kind of research.

[ K says fanboy and Stephen's thoughts go immediately to Sunny, who is so far the only person in Folkmore to have drawn him fanart. Step it up, Kyle. ]
Well, alright then. If I have any pertinent updates, you'll be the first to know. [ But he can't just leave it there. ] What kinds of mythological creatures have you managed so far?

Though speaking of dragons, that's one of the mythological creatures I changed into. Several kinds. I've read in fantasy books about how they can have different elemental affinities, so I attempted to replicate that. A unicorn, a qilin, a griffon... haven't managed any of the humanoid kinds yet. And the griffon was technically more of a winged cat, but I'm working on it.

[ He played himself... but also, thanks Kyle. ]
How do you perceive your ability to change to work? For you, specifically. Do you think and become, just a matter of intention? Or do you need a thorough visual or even more complex understanding of the creature you want to be? There's clearly some margin for error if your flying cat is anything to go by, you must have a sense of where the attempt has previously hit a snag.
[ A door has been opened, and through it he cannot help but to march. ]
