Trying my hand at baking. I wasn't a complete flop at it last time so I might as well see how it goes this round.

So I've found. I'm clumsy though so it certainly isn't without it's mishaps.

[Her scarf golem does like to try to be helpful as well. That doesn't blend so well with cooking though.]

True, but you might get used to and see where to adjust things with time, right? Not that I cook much. The principals of getting good at something seem the same.

To a degree. I'll always be clumsy but it isn't hard to adjust around.

I don't usually cook much either. It's comforting in a way though. It takes your mind off of other things.

You know, that sounds nice. Not having to think about all the other things for a time would be good. I never thought of cooking like that. It's been a do to survive thing.

I do admit I've thought of it the same way myself. I had other means of keeping myself busy at home however, not so much here.

I've been studying in a conservatoire lately. It takes up most of my time to be honest.

[Best not to go too in-depth with someone new. She's had months of being secretive and telling half-truths by now.]

Oh, that was idle musing. I was working my way towards drunk. But, usually how I take my mind off things is check on people I know. Or practice throwing knives. It's best not to get rusty on that.

Just one question. What is a conservatoire? Some kind of library?

A school. Though to be honest with you I didn't exactly learn much at all.

Yeah, that sounds pretty typical of a school to me. We only learn so much from them.

Yeah. They didn’t expect much from me from the start and that am only motivated a lack of caring on my part too.
