Well, let's see...
My sons started school when I was 31! I've gotten to see my beautiful boys grow up into young men!

Yeah, okay, that's a good point. It's nice to see kids grow up like that.

Do you have any kids yourself?

No but I do have a younger brother and a whole class full of them every year.

Oh, you're a teacher? That's great! I'm something of a science educator, myself.

That's great! How long have you been teaching?

Three or four years now, depending on if you count student teaching I guess. How about you? You said you were a science teacher?

More of a general science educator than a teacher, per se. I'm a geologist at the San Dimas Museum of Natural History. But I've written and performed some education rap songs about rocks that we sell in the gift shop at the museum!

Honestly I would rate my abilities more at "not awful but not wonderful". So...mediocre?
