So I don't know if you caught Ezra's post on Tisha B'Av, but he'd be delighted to have more people to celebrate with, especially with the High Holidays coming up.

And while I'm mostly canon blind, just think they might vibe well in general. Both his birth mom and his informal foster mother were good people who did their best for him but kinda...driven.

Midge is overall a good person, she's just not really a "hero", you know? Or at least, she wouldn't see herself that way.

Well, his birth parents are canonically named Mira and Ephraim, and between that and space!Middle Eastern character designs for all three of them, he's definitely Jewish *coded*? So then when there was a game event that Wandavisioned everyone into a modern Earth city vaguely modeled on NYC, I ran with it. So, like, he knows those aren't his 'original' memories, but he decided he wanted to embrace parts of that life.

I mean, that he got memories of a relatively normal childhood, aside from being an orphan raised by a much older brother, that balances out a little the bucket of trauma that is his canon, is, uh, a big factor in that decision.

I mean, go for it. Midge will be happy to have people here that celebrate the holidays. She's definitely not the strictest Jew, but if there are other people partaking, she probably will as well.
