Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, and remind our players of upcoming dates.
Upcoming weather and information for July
🦊 Baba Yaga is still the forefront iteration of Thirteen for August, and so there is still fog all over the place. However, in many instances it has picked up a sheen of pastel. It's still fog, but it's orange. Or blue. Or pink. Or lilac. When it settles it will not discolor your clothing or your stuff.
🦊 The lake still has tides, but they've shifted to a different side of the lake as the "shoreline." Which side? Well, it's different than when it was last time anybody looked. Probably. They're all pretty sure.
🦊 Wintermute's weather has relaxed, and is no longer thundersnowing; instead it is experiencing a balmy state of just below freezing temperatures and regular sunshine. Everywhere else is experiencing a heat wave. Never fear, all the schools have good climate control if your homes don't, and the Wandering Dog can be counted on to supply tasty hydration when you need it most.
🦊 For those of you who have decided to go looking for the source of the humming and the shaking? You literally won't find it—the closer you get, the more everything turns blurry and unclear. It's like staring through heat shimmers, except that in most locations it's not actually hot, just full of humming. But the edges of Folkmore are not actually available to you; you can't go that far, and it all looks a little distorted.
Sorry to disappoint, but it's blurring like that for a reason and it will become clear sooner than later!
