As luck would have it, he did.
I'll have to study it.

It could have been something in the environment that the mushroom absorbed rather than the mushroom itself. Or it could be both. There are several potential unfortunate factors, really.

Was the gentleman inebriated at the time? Is that why he thought eating the toilet mushroom would be a worthwhile venture?

Strangely enough I don't believe he was, though there may have been other factors involved. I made sure he was taken somewhere safe.

As for the mushrooms, I intend to study them thoroughly. I don't often find new species of fungi to study.
