You know what, never mind.

What I *should* do is figure out why I'm so irritable. I've managed to be mostly civil to an actual Sith Lord who decided to invite themselves over for tea, this is nothing.

[He will just not mention that he means Maul.]

I think the better question is, why bother being civil to a Sith Lord at all?

1) They are actually people, even if *they* think they aren't.

2) This was Trench, place I most recently was. Killing someone didn't guarantee they wouldn't come back - and apparently that's true here too - so we couldn't exactly get away from each other in any meaningful way.

What would you say are the most viable options, in such a scenario?

1) They're monsters.

2) I would probably tell them to fuck off on their way to hell.

[That's essentially what he did when he cut Maul in half. Maybe he's not the best person to ask about this after all. Clearly he hasn't reached the stage of forgiveness his older self has. It's all still too fresh and raw.]

1) No, that's the lie they tell themselves and everyone else, while they choose to do monstrous things. There's a difference.

2) Understandable, I've done that too. Sometimes it's even effective. But when you're trapped together, that alone is practically the least best option in getting them to STOP.

Well I hope to never be in that situation.

That said, odds are good *someone* here will go on a power trip, at some point.

[Ezra would be very pleasantly surprised if none of the Star Children delighted in cruelty, murder, or mayhem, already. But so far it seems like he and Obi-Wan either arrived in a lull or those who indulgent in their worst natures are being low key about it.]
