We are sorry to see you go! We hope you enjoyed your time in Folkmore. Be aware that if you drop entirely (all characters) from Folkmore you will need to be invited back in.

When a character is dropped, the character will become stardust and return to space. It is unknown if the characters goes home or if they go elsewhere in the universe.

Characters will know when a character has been dropped. They will see their close CR appear to them as a stardust-type ghost, waving, before they vanish. Alternatively, they will see that their Foxi profile is no longer accessible.

Hiatus

Characters on hiatus have two options: they can either go about their daily lives or fall into a deep coma, their bodies shining like starlight, suspended in the air.

We do not allow hiatuses with an estimated period of 3+ months. If you frequently take hiatuses and spend more time on hiatus than in the game, we may ask you to drop until things have cleared up. This is in fairness to other players. We are always willing to make accommodations for unique exceptions: please just let a mod know either on this page or privately.

If on hiatus, the player will not have to check in manually; the mods will take care of it.

Player: Schist
Character Name: Rogue
Update Details: Going from Uncanny Avengers Vol 3 Issue #23 to end of Mr & Mrs X Issue #12. Rogue finishes out her stint with the disbanded, but still functioning as a team Unity Squad. Returning to X-Men duties, Headmistress Pryde sends her and Remy LeBeau on over to Paradiso, a couples therapy resort where mutants are going missing. The two actually have to participate in much needed therapy that's woven through with memory stealing and golem creation, coming out of the experience together as a couple again. In X-Men Gold #30 Remy basically steals a wedding, proposing to Rogue and getting hitched when the previously scheduled wedding falls through.

During their honeymoon in space they get sent on a mission, hijinks happen and Rogue's powers evolve to no control plus being able to pull life force through proximity (~20 feet) rather than skin to skin, causing her to need to wear a power dampening collar/bracelet permanently. Once home they get pulled to the Mojoverse and after working through her own memories, Rogue gains control of her mutation. Hip hip hurray!

Honeymoon over, Rogue gets lured into weird shit in New York thinking she's coming to the aid of Carol Danvers. She ends up under the control of Nuclear Man and made to attack Carol so the two can fight to the death to be his Stronk Woman Bride to breed. They work together and kick his ass, but to do that Rogue has to absorb all of Carol again. It heals their relationship a bit more.

She gets home to find Remy's been kidnapped by the Thieves & Assassins Guilds working together. While he has a plan to handle it while Rogue is taking care of the above NY mess, Rogue shows up and literally kicks down the door to fuck people up and save her husband, only to get captured because punching magic didn't work. There's a triple cross and the married couple escapes threat of magical sacrifice to solidify Remy's position as King of the Thieves Guild and a member of the X-Men.

Tired married couple gets to go home to the cats finally, which is her new canon point.
Mental or Physical Changes: She's grown as a person, basically been through very intensive power-assisted therapy between Paradiso and Mojoverse, resulting in her working through her Big Honkin' Issues with Remy and then her own deep seeded fear of her powers ultimately controlling them. She works through her powers evolving and becoming more dangerous between those experiences as well. Another point of growth came when she and Carol had to work together and trust each other very intimately to defeat Nuclear Man. They're now in a better place, relatively speaking.
Power Changes: Rogue's mutation evolved to not require her to touch others in order to pull life force. This range is currently limited to around 20 feet. She also has control of her mutation again.
