Ah. I've... still not really internalized that most people here have never met someone like me and don't understand the stigma.

I have devils in my family. Their blood, is my blood. I've lived my whole life in defiance of their influence.

I had no idea, my apologies. There are people in my world who look like you, and since many Starchildren have horns, I assumed you were a familiar or a myth.

Now I understand your first 'face your demons' comment. [ Jayce returns the smile, seemingly not too worried that he's talking to someone with demon blood in them. He knows well that such a thing is not a reflex of a person's character. ]
