I could teach you some basics, certainly, but if you're looking to learn how to lead in dance, you'll have to find someone else.

i don't think i need to become a leader in dance, just passable.

Alright, then I suppose we should start with this basic principle. In dancing, one partner leads, the other follows. Generally, the stronger person is the leader. Most often, it's the man of the pair, but that can change, depending on the make up of the pair and who has more skil.

Oh, I can and I do when needed, but generally... I tend to follow. At least when it comes to dancing.

If you ever hope to impress a mate, yes. I know many people who are impressed by someone who can take charge and lead them around a dance floor with little effort.
