Thank you so much for thinking so. I have been trying my best to stay levelheaded. You know, just, rational, calm. I did agree to come here so there's no use in panicking, I suppose. Besides, the fox has provided us with lovely accommodations, and it's been all right so far. How has it been for you?

you didn't agree to come here, you were enchanted.
well, probably. i guess it's possible there are people that didn't need to be tricked, but personally speaking, i never would have willingly agreed to leave my husband.

[perceptive]

I don't like the idea of having been enchanted. And I'm fairly sure I would know if I was being manipulated. Then again. It's not like I've ever been pulled into another dimension and dealt with anyone like Thirteen before, so you might be right there.

Hopefully, we are going to be returned home right where we left off so no one will be the wiser. This whole experience has been rather strange, but I'd really like to make the best of it.

I'm sorry you're apart from your loved one though. I know it must be difficult. How long have you been married?

[ it's never not going to be weird that this young, alternate charles xavier from another reality is so.. earnest. it's not that the one from home doesn't have earnest moments, he's sure, just.. well, billy doesn't particularly trust him. it's hard to set that aside. ]

magic isn't like telepathy. it affects you in a way that your mind doesn't always recognize, even when you have powerful psionic abilities. but on the other hand, the rules may be different in your reality. maybe you would know. if the fox asked you again today, would you still come with her?

a little over a year. we've been together since we were fifteen, though.

Probably not. Unless of course she needs help in which case I would think about it.

thank you. it's taken a while on earth, but it was good to be able to first get married there, since that's where we both grew up.

his name is teddy. theodore, but no one really calls him that. i'll show you some images sometime if you're interested.

Of course I'd be interested. It's always nice to be able to put a face to a name. Do you have other friends or family here?

surprisingly, yes, though they're from another reality. maybe even yours, i haven't asked.
my aunt is lorna dane, and my grandfather is erik lehnsherr.

[ at least, that's what he's calling himself here. ]

i'm going to take that as an expression of shock and not as a requirement for me to explain to you how babies are made.

surprisingly, though, it actually is a long story. let's just say that we're a non-traditional family?

Well, it's actually wonderful to hear he has family. ( unfortunately, the erik in his world lost his wife and child recently, but he won't be mentioning that. it's really not his place to do so. )

Are you close?

not as much as we'd probably both like. i know he loves my brother and i, but we haven't spent a lot of time together, and i live in space with my husband now anyway.

Not my Erik. I meant, the one from my world.

And what is your brother's name? Is he older? Younger? I have a sister. Her name's Raven.

i mean, he's kind of your erik if you two have your shit figured out yet. it took a long time back home.
i've met him. i haven't talked to him much yet, though.

tommy, he's my twin. twins run in the family. [ .. raven? no. ] you have a sister in my reality, too, but she's an asshole.
you also have two kids of your own that i know of.

What shit figured out exactly? The one where I hope we'd be able to coexist peacefully with the humans? But Erik seems to think it's rubbish?

Twins! You two must be very close. Who's my sister in your reality? And who are my children? Who did I marry? Was it Moira? ( please be moira, please be moira, please be moira. )

not exactly. you guys are kind of an old married couple, just without the actual marriage. i mean, you two wore matching outfits to the hellfire gala, that's like screaming you're together.

her name is cassandra nova, but trust me, she sucks.
you're not married, unless you count grandfather, and you have a son named david haller, and a daughter named xandra. david's had some problems, but he seems to be doing okay now? and xandra's the majestrix of the shi'ar empire. i only really know her through diplomatic channels.

Old married couple? Odd way of putting it, but I suppose we do bicker like one at times. This Hellfire Gala, does it have anything to do with a Sebastian Shaw or an Emma Frost?

Also, none of those names strike me as familiar, but it's interesting to know that alternate universes exists.
