Although I can't say I understand. Love is a powerful emotion. It's the only thing that really keeps me awake and aware. Why deny yourself such a thing?

It’s a mess of things. Things I’ve carried from my life before and things I’ve picked up here.

But if it’s any consolation I have done a horrible job at denying myself Natsume since then. I don’t think I can. I told myself it was temporary. Just for awhile. But now we’re tangled up in each other in such a complicated way it’s not so easy to just separate.

But I’m wondering if you’d do a favor for me.

I can’t provide that. I don’t want Natsume to miss out because of me.

If you don’t mind, do you think you could be his Legend? So he can reach his full potential? You’re so kind. I know you’d take good care of him.

I know it’s a lot to ask, but it’s been bothering me.
