it's kind of complicated? I was dead then my soul was brought over to Mothersong which i guess people here arent familiar with but it's like? an afterlife where your soul manifests again

but then i was brought here.

So i don't really know where that leaves me in terms of dead or alive

I've never heard of anything like that but I met someone else who died and then came back. So I guess that can happen some places. It doesn't happen where I'm from.

I guess if you feel alive then you could just say that? It's weird to think about death not being permanent.

yeah, i think I'm going through some reincarnation process. i think the point was that i felt alive again. i don't really even remember dying so i don't think much about it.

I don't think this place cares much about playing by ordinary reality rules.

This place doesn't seem to have rules that make sense. We didn't have magic at home but I'm learning a little about its existence from other people.

Souls. I've never thought much about souls.

The idea that when we die, we have these things called "souls" that go through some process and then get basically recycled into a brand new life. usually without memories of your old life.

i know back in my first life, some people thought it was fake or a spiritual thing. some cultures don't believe it exists at all and it's not like there's anyway to confirm it's real unless you've actually died and gone through it

but then like you forget when you're reborn so it's just a mystery to everyone but ppl like me who are going THROUGH it

That sounds kind of terrible, although if you don't remember it I guess you wouldn't know. I've never heard of anything like that where I'm from.

I don't know if there's a lot of magical people, but there's some, which is more than I'd ever met before.

I don't know that I even believe in souls. That sounds dumb now talking to you or existing here where people walked out of their bodies or whatever to get here.
