I definitely agree with you there. At least this place is pretty peaceful though ... except for the monsters, I guess.

I'm not afraid of monsters. But I guess by definition that's not peaceful.
More peaceful than where I came from so far though.

I'd say the same but the last few years have been pretty quiet actually.

It was quiet when I was a kid but that was a lie. It's been war most of my life.

Back home we had a hundred year war just end a couple of years ago. Everyone is ready for a little peace. Mostly everyone.

Okay. But I'm going to assume monsters are just not peaceful by default.

[ He may be just always geared up for a fight because that's how he solves problems! ]

A hundred years is a long time for a war.

[ He has a better grasp on just how long 100 years is because of his weird past memories thing, but to have a war that long...damn. ]

I'm glad that war ended where you're from. We'll have peace at home eventually, but we have to kill our enemies first or they'll wipe us out.

[ He may not be on that path anymore since he's come here, but his perspective on the situation back in his own world hasn't really changed. ]
