They're fairly standard in most houses now, except for very old ones. Some places have dryers too, but most people prefer to hang dry their clothes, still. My foster parents did. They liked the way it made the clothes smell.

Honestly, things weren't entirely clear. It was new ground, and whatever would have happened, the fox combined my soul and my body and made sure it was alive. Which puts me back at the 'I'm aliiiiiiiive' end of the scale.

We didn't all literally die. Only ~13/17 depending how you count it. We "won." We won shit all.

I find it hard to believe anything could be as effective as the sun at drying clothes, although I can see the usefulness! There was a fall in Zaphias one year where we had rain nearly every day, and nobody's clothes could get dry.
