Trial Consequences & Continuing Effects
Over the last month, Folkmore experienced:
- It has been all about the water, which is good news for those with a natural water affinity. Bodies of water that Star Children land themselves in are attuned to their desires, currently accommodating what they could want, whether exploration, relaxation or just nudge to shore.
- The rain was pretty significant, to the point of sweeping people around Folkmore to various areas. This led to flooding, and help was needed to shore up the various places, although the people of Talaria were spared.
- Negative emotions are affecting the cleanliness of Star Children, and their spaces, so it’s time to clean out that emotional grime and get to work, that, or end up kind of uncomfortable and perpetually grimy.
These
effects continue:
- Star Children may still find themselves with grime clinging to them through May, even though the rain is easing up. Although the rain has eased, bodies of water can still sweep them away to other areas of Folkmore, and they are much more inviting this month too. Consider it a free tour adventure, but there’s never been a better time to explore the watery depths around Tides.
Thirteen's iteration Jewelia continues to lead Folkmore. Star Children can tell by the welcoming sensation near water, encouraging them to take a little dip, there may be more fish swimming around this month too. There’s also music in the air, gentle notes that can be caught on the wind.
Star Children may contact Jewelia via a dip down to Tides, or standing in front of a mirror in the latest fashion by drawing something on the reflective glass.
Weather & New Environmental Effects
- Welcome to May where the weather in general is finally warming up. Puddles have transformed into little flower beds everywhere, brightly coloured flowers stretching up to greet the sun. Spring is in the air and while there will be some sun showers near the end of May, the worst of the rain has passed, it is now a prelude to a summer that’s yet to come.
- Cruel Summer’s oases remain for an additional month, but they’ll get smaller and smaller as the month goes on, drying up by the end of it. Up until the 25th, Star Children can still find fish there.
- The temperature of the water around Tides is completely pleasant, no longer having that chill, and glowing flowers can be found, illuminating the depths, to the delight of visitors.
