Self Introduction: Hi, I'm Kyo! I'm bad at talking about myself. I like JRPGs, and my usual big haunts are the Tales series (obviously), Kingdom Hearts, Atlus games, Pokemon, and Final Fantasy. I've been a DWRPer for way too long, and I'm also a vtuber! Offline, I am gainfully employed by my local library, and I own the cutest dog on the planet and his name is Ziggy.
Character Name: Asbel Lhant
Canon/Canon Point: post-main arc
Character Appearance: Here we go!
General Personality: Asbel on the surface is very hyperfixated on friendship and keeping his loved ones safe. He's not very bright and is quite naive when it comes to the intent of others, but he's open-minded and does his best. He's kind and earnest, perhaps to a fault, and embodies knightly virtues in many ways.
Underneath all that though, Asbel struggles with a pretty deep impostor syndrome as he's struggling to find his place in the world and if he can really handle the lot in life he's been handed. He spent a lot of his life running from his destiny as the scion of the ruling family in his town, and now that it's managed to catch up to him, he's still unsure he's the right person for the job.
Character Powers: Asbel, for the most part, is a pretty typical overpowered shounen JRPG protagonist. He's got crazy sword skills but not really any special powers aside from a light blessing that he can use to combat specific monsters in his world. There are abilities he develops later on past his canon point but those aren't relevant right now.
There is one thing that some people might pick up on. Asbel has a second being sleeping inside his headspace, named Lambda. Lambda's asleep at the moment so there's no worry about meeting him, but particularly astute people who are attuned to this sort of thing might detect a second soul intermingled with Asbel's.
Character Role: Legend
Living Area: Right now he's probably still camped out in the bar to be honest. Eventually once he gets his bearings (and realizes he can and should move somewhere for real) he'll likely take up residence in the Cloud Colonies.
Character's Potential: Asbel is a through and through hero-type, though he's at a point in his life where he's still in the midst of figuring himself out and what he actually wants to do with himself. He's got a chance to explore his potential and what he wants to do and figure out how to do it here.
Initial Plans: Right now, he's still settling in, so not much yet. He's curious about what the fox's goal is and even agreed to work with Sorey on talking to her. I do have some longer term plans, such as him taking interest in the fighting school. He'll eventually like to talk to people in some sort of position of leadership and learn from them. He should also probably develop some hobbies now that he actually has time to dedicate to that sort of thing.

Character Name: Mewtwo

Character Appearance: He is the weirdest of weird cats
General Personality: Very stand offish, but warms up quickly once he's convinced you're not a threat to him or wanting to control him
Character Powers: Anything that could be tangentially explained by psychokinesis. In the anime he is portrayed as having near god-like power to wipe all life off the face of the planet if he wished. Thankfully, he has no desire to do any of that. ...Anymore.
Character Role: Familiar
Living Area: Probably outside Epiphany
Character's Potential: He's very much in the force of nature category as far as his desires go as he doesn't really know much about humanity or the world itself, primarily because he has spent so much time apart from humanity. Learning more about the human condition is his top priority.
Initial Plans: His primary plans will be to just observe and learn. Being completely removed from Pokeballs or any kind of method to control him, he will be less hesitant to actually communicate and will want to just learn about humanity. Especially those that have a pure and/or heroic heart.
