Welcome to our plotting post for this month's event! This plotting page will not include any generic mingle introductions found on the live event. If you have questions about the trial, let us know down below!

Content Warnings: Lightning that can cause death, altered bodies, personality, and potentially cause extreme horniness & mania. Plantlife transformation to carniviorous predators.
Lightning is dangerous in Folkmore for one reason: it almost always hits the ground. Some believe it is Thirteen's direct influence as one can detect magic coursing through these bolts of lightning. The lightning that strikes can cause death or damage to property, but most of this lightning carries far more varied consequences than normal lightning.
Some people may discover an abnormal increased power boost after they are struck with lightning. Some people might temporarily forget their names/history. This lightning has been known to zap plantlife and turn them into snarky carnivorous predators. They will beg to eat you and if you refuse them...They will probably eat you anyway. If you let them - thankfully a little bit of poison or a good pair of trimmers should be enough to keep you safe.
One of the most common consequences comes from a particular bolt of purple lightning that causes instant desperation to those it hits. People will be shocked with the urge to seek companionship. This can be platonic, non-sexual companionship such as cuddling up on a blanket or exchanging hugs, but for most people, it will likely dissolve into an intense, burning sexual desire. If someone is struck a second time with this purple lightning, not only will they feel sexually stimulated, they will feel an unlocking shamelessness within them, making them seek out very specific kinks and fetishes to engage with as vanilla sex may not be quite enough to get rid of the burn.
Engaging in sexual activity or physical closeness (platonic cuddling, etc) will reduce the consequences of most lightning strikes. This can be done with people you are familiar with or completed with total strangers. You may grow desperate enough that you might just ask the first person you come across. If people are struck by yellow lightning they will be shrunk down into a miniature version of themselves. Most people are shrunk down to a six-inch tall version of themselves, but some might be a bit bigger. The entire world will be your oyster and many will find that their powers will be temporarily nerfed/watered down in this state. It may make traveling around a bit difficult. If you are struck twice by the lightning, you may be blessed with temporary fairy wings that help you get around.
This consequence can last quite some time. It will cause increased fear towards any living creature bigger than you - even if you typically would trust the other individual. You will have an increased paranoia of being seen as prey and have a natural caution and fear towards the world around you.
But being this small will allow you to see a part of Folkmore most never get to see. You will be able to find incredible little treasures all throughout Folkmore buried in the walls of old homes or under floorboards. Unique items such as lost jewelry or old weapons from legends. This is a good excuse to get your character some cool items. Your character can find items from any canon so long as they are not world-destroying. The only catch is that your character simply won't be big enough to actually gather the items...But maybe they can find someone who can!
In order to return to your proper size, you will have to make a connection with someone who is their regular size and allow yourself to be open with them about things you feel small about in your own life. Things that you can admit to that make you feel insignificant, things that make you feel inferior or insecure, or a moment that once made you feel insecure or not good enough. Congratulations - you suddenly are exactly that. If people see you as a soft pushover with no spine? Congratulations, any bravery you had within you is snuffed out.
You become the worst version of yourself other people believe in. You become a caricature of your own self. The worst part is that internally, you will be fully aware of this as it is happening, but you will have no ability to actually stop it from happening. You won't have your usual control over your own body, your own way of talking. You will have to watch the worst version of yourself just play out...
The worst part of this is that it will depend on other people trying to see past this in order to reverse the effects. You will need to meet someone who is willing to try and understand what may be redeeming about you or who you truly are. This might be easier for people who know you already, people who can confidently say, "This isn't the XYZ I know!" But for total strangers, it might require some serious compassion and patience. There is a loophole though...Strangers who persist in conversations and ask direct questions about you, and your life, may be able to get to a deeper side of you even if you react negatively.

The more you are asked about your life, your personality, and who you are, the more this effect will wear off until you are finally in control of yourself once again.

Current Mindset/Health: Right now he's mostly trying to vibe things out. Kokichi doesn't truly have a grasp on his mindset after his killing game experience and he's still finding his way here and adjusting. He's physically healthy, though!
Trial Accomplishments: Honestly, I don't see any accomplishments in particular coming this early - or at least anything Kokichi sees as an accomplishment. His polaroids are going to be all over the place, which means pictures of his classmates, mostly - some of them are from his organization DICE, but the faces are either behind clown masks or incomprehensible. Almost scratched out. And, uh, there might be a few more lewd images of some of his male classmates mixed in there considering his fantasies...don't mind those.
But maybe he'll get to be a little more honest with people. He has to be honest and vulnerable considering some of these prompts, and what better way for him to make new CR than that.
Trial Failures: I am totally down for him getting hit by purple lightning and trying to hide it. He's already a pent-up gremlin as is, and he'll be terrible at hiding it, especially around cute boys near his age. What a fucking mess. Literally, if he's lucky. But he's also a brat and he hates being vulnerable, so, you know.
That also won't help him with the non-sexual prompts. He's terrible at being little with anyone since he's usually so short and cute anyway that he forces himself to project a big image so it's kind of just salt in the wound to be even smaller. And as for the red lightning...one word: yikes. The version of Kokichi most people would think of - the worst version - is insufferable, uncaring, callous, lies as he breathes, and will betray others for a laugh and pick at their flaws just to make himself feel better. He HATES that part of himself, but being unable to help it...actually a nightmare. Help.
Wanted CR: Give him anything! Most of his CR may be slowly climbing in next month so I'd love to get more for him now.

Current Mindset/Health: After a very traumatic series of events he’s been thrown into this magical world where he’s part rabbit so uhhhh I think ‘off kilter’ is the best way to describe him. Like Alice freshly in Wonderland. He’s trying to find his bearings and maintain some dignity.
Trial Accomplishments: MINIMUM EMBARRASSMENT unfortunately he has me for a player and I like MAXIMUM EMBARRASSMENT.

Current Mindset/Health: Mentally okay, trying to come to terms with retiring from an active role as leader for the Avengers to self-improvement. He's also trying to be more independent and misses his team sorely, but wants to be a better person first.
Trial Accomplishments: I'm just down to see how well he can be honest, forced or otherwise and whether he'll take agency in the situation or let himself be dragged into it. Tony has . . . issues with forced/magicked compliance so it'll be a traumatic thing for him to handle.
Totally down for tiny Tony too, carry around a pocket Iron Man.

Current Mindset/Health: Kaneki has already a set of mental health issues going on, but now we have existential crisis added to the list because Kaneki isn't taking it well that he is a clone (maybe???) of the original Kaneki that stood behind in his world. I'm always 100% ok with bringing this up or completely ignoring it.
Trial Accomplishments/Failures: First two trials, I'm all in for those! Kaneki opening up to people, allowing closeness, those are very important things. He will be terrible at it, terrible at admitting his feelings and his insecurities BUT HEY!! I'm excited to see how it will go so I'm okay with everything. Mostly Kaneki will be super embarrassed.
LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE - Kaneki can certainly fight carnivorous plants or help whoever is fighting them. On a less action-driven way, Kaneki would be awkward but fine with contact however he will probably be too shy to initiate and will simply look like a lost desperate puppy. PLEASE HUG THIS BOY. As for non-platonic contact, currently there are some other things happening with someone (you know who you are), plus Kaneki is unable to do one-night-stands/friends-with-benefits without developing feelings eventually, so I will be saying no to that with other characters .

Current Mindset/Health: Flynn's doing just fine at the moment! He's settling in, he's going to All the Schools, he's trying to figure out the rules so he can excel at all of them, he's challenging hot guys to swordfights, it's all chill.
Trial Accomplishments: Listen. Listen. This event is a dream come true for me, I want to do all of it. That said:
Flynn will take pretty seriously the chance to open up and connect with people. He'll be very curious about people's polaroids and also try to connect with folks after getting hit with the purple lightning! Happy to keep that platonic or edge it into less platonic territory, although fair warning he's unknowingly pining pretty hard over his best friend so anything that way will just be physical.
He'll be available to help out any tiny people who may need a hand turning back to normal. Tell him what makes you feel small, or let him pick through your worst self! He's pretty good at that.
Trial Failures: Flynn's trying to set himself up as a perfect student and a good knight so obvs I gotta embarrass the shit out of him. Some of his polaroids might also be.... suggestive.... pictures of various idols of his (see: Yuri, his Commandant...) which he will hate and which I will love, and I would also love for him to be tiny and useless and need help scooping something up because he can't do it. He needs to learn that he can ask people for help, after all, and I'd love for him to also talk to some folks about the many things that have made him feel small.
His worst self will be exceedingly smug and annoying, as well as kind of a too-polite smiling know-it-all. It'll be horrible and hilarious if anyone's into that.
Wanted CR: We're just starting out here so I'm down for absolutely anything, including but not limited to people for him to make out with (without strings attached or much development past that), friends to remind him to have a good time, people who might need a sunshine extrovert boy to motivate them to be their best selves, and people who are annoyed by overachiever sunshine extrovert boys!

- kokichi gets hit with red or yellow lightning and either flynn's just perceptive and forgiving enough to see beyond the Ultimate Supreme Leader villain persona or he's just nice enough for Kokichi to accept 'well, I guess I can be a little small here, maybe, just don't tell anyone else'

Current Mindset/Health: Yuri is not super bought in to the idea of potential yet, annoyed at his new cat appendages, mostly just chillin'.
Trial Accomplishments:
Purple lightning: Down for some awkward hugs or cuddling here! Open to non-romantic kissing, and possibly some light smut but only if we know each other decently well.
Yellow lightning: This prompt is my spouse's dream, so I am contractually obligated to make Yuri tiny. He will have sparkly purple wings and he mad about it. He doesn't open up easily, and I love the opportunity to have him try (and possible fail).
Red lightning: Will turn Yuri into a delinquent. People expect the worst of him, so he'll have no respect for anyone or anything. He'll steal and vandalize and generally be a nuisance, until someone can tell him he doesn't have to be this way. Would love to do this with new CR!
Your lightning: Yuri is a great listener, but he also doesn't pry. He can help your character figure their own stuff out if they need someone to sit with them.
Trial Failures: Not sure of anything here! Feel free to save tiny him from a rude stout or something if you want.

Current Mindset/Health: he’s mad, lonely, flustered, and kind of pissed (still stuck as a fox u see, but he’s got human hands and it’s really weird)! he got decked in the face by our resident asahi and he’s recently asked to hang because his apartment is just too empty (still totally open and we can def squeeze event stuff there if there’s any interest)! this may change this month as he starts to loosen up and pry into what’s bothering him the most. with a successful ending, he might even achieve his regular shape by the next month! that’s what i’m gunning for, at least!
Trial Accomplishments: i think i’m going to use a mix of the appearing photos of his brother/team and purple lightning to push him to seek people (more than he already is) and get this off his chest! down for cuddling and hoping opening up some about what’s making him so high strung will get him to chill out into a more human shape (down for sfw romance, may delve into nsfw if the groove is there)!
Trial Failures: since this may be a huge step for atsumu as is, i’ll refrain from having him struck by other thunders, but i’m not above him being in danger and/or injured by carnivorous plants and needing someone to save him!

Current Mindset/Health: currently well and testing the waters, getting to know the world and doing some extensive research about it. the more knowledge the better! the more…. control :)
Trial Accomplishments: i am considering yellow lightning aka tiny!! makima! a little angel/devil for your shoulder 🥹 i’m still considering some items, but what makima should spill is probably how much she would like to be human and make connections, real connections with people in a familial way. bonus points for not being able to stop certain events from happening even if she has all the control in the world (she may be dodgy about the details, but she’ll talk, somewhat). other than that, i’m open to her helping characters out, especially! she’s an awesome listener.

Monthly Pacing: I'm fairly slow in general, but this has been a pretty wild month so I'm…not sure? I will try not to be too slow orz
OOC Limitations/Disinterests: I don't want to write drawn out fight scenes if I can avoid them. I don't want to write character death without a LOT of discussion first; I'm very rarely into death plots. I don't engage with gender swaps.
Character Name: Getou Suguru (this is the Japanese order, but he'd ask most people to call him by his family name anyway)
Character Role: Myth
Current Mindset/Health: He's doing pretty well overall? He came here from Noctium, not from his canon, so he's had some time to kind of come to term with what happened back home. He's also open to the idea of the multiverse and people coming from wildly different timelines and being in a weird place!
Trial Accomplishments: Getou's polaroids will probably all be of when he was younger, before he went all "we can do a little genocide as a treat" etc. If you're extra lucky you can find one of him and Gojo at the beach or something like that, clearly very close.
Getou may not have a horny requirement goal ICly but I do oocly so I'm super down for using the purple lightning to do kinky shit! Thanks to Noctium, Getou is fairly used to this kind of thing happening, and he's much more willing to engage than he might otherwise be. If your character needs a nudge, Getou's nekomata abilities make him extra charming~ so we could work with that?
Not really up for the size thing, though Getou can lend an ear to a sized down character.
I'm on the fence about the last one; Getou as the worst imagined version of himself would probably kill most people he encounters so it would be hard to bring him down from it and I'm not sure that's something I want to write this early on? But I'm considering it.

Trial Accomplishments: Definitely here for ALL THE PROMPTS -- for purple lightning I'm here for SFW closeness or NSFW if the vibe is there, because Natsume is really good at suppressing his own desires and wants, and the lightning will have him completely giving into being a horny teenage, oops. I don't think I'll have him go small for yellow, but I'd love to have him make that connection with a wee tiny person. Ride on his shoulder, new buddy. For red, Natsume will be the duplicitous, lying, attention-seeking, cold-hearted brat people consistently think he is, which will both be hilarious and heartbreaking.
Trial Failures: Ultimately I just want the guy to stop being so uptight and lose some control, which will definitely shake him up. Being vulnerable? Smooching someone?? Maybe doing more??? The SCANDAL.

Character Role: Legend
Current Mindset/Health: Bruce is laying low and getting a sense of what this world is like, although he has picked up teaching a class at Thoth to explain why he needs to be in a laboratory there on a regular basis. He's mostly healed from throwing himself through the hedges on his first day.
Trial Accomplishments: For photographs, Bruce will be getting a few pictures of his family, including his butler, Alfred Pennyworth. He will also be getting a photo of a beautiful young woman in a short-cropped wig and a photo of a police detective, both of which he's going to try to keep anyone else from seeing.
When it comes to the purple lightning Bruce will be getting struck once, and will strive very hard to keep the ensuing closeness platonic, but I'm open to that shifting if things line up a certain way! It almost definitely won't get past making out regardless.
For yellow and red lightning I'd love to have Bruce help out people who are made small/made into caricatures of themselves! He is actually fairly good at asking questions that get into people's heads, although the fact this mild-mannered mumblecore man has interrogation skills might raise some people's eyebrows.
Trial Failures: He is guaranteed to be awkward and uncomfortable about all of this, which constitutes a general failure, but nothing too dramatic.
Wanted CR: Anything, but a particular focus on starting to find positive CR to befriend. I'm open to romance for him in the future, but I'd like to get him settled in first before developing any.

Monthly Pacing: Probably gonna be a little slow, I work at Disneyland and the park is only getting more busy as we move more into the summer months.
OOC Limitations/Disinterests: No romance or sex right now. If you want to awkwardly flirt and have it go absolutely nowhere, go ahead, but no one throwing themself at the murder hobo please. I'm still getting into a solid character voice with him and that's just a little too much right now for someone this sexually repressed.

Current Mindset/Health: He's still just kind of acclimating himself with how weird this place is. He's seen some really weird shit in his time but this is just A Lot for him to handle. But he adapts fast and so we'll see where it goes!
Trial Accomplishments: The ones I am open and interested in right now for the lightning are amnesia, dealing with plant life (he can make a mean improvised fiery torch!), being shrunk down to the size of a fairy (double wings man, it's double wings!), and being his worst self.
Trial Failures: Not open to death right now but a bit of injury or just him taking ridiculously long to get with the program regarding actually doing something like talking about himself or his feelings and the consequences of that are all on the table.
Wanted CR: I'm looking for a bit of everything! Friends, acquaintances, people to save, people to dislike, adults he can judge, kids he can protect, really dumb people he can drop off the nearest cliff when he's too annoyed by them. Rorschach isn't always an easy person to interact with but unless you're acting like a villain directly in front of him, he'll at least try to be civil, if socially awkward and only saying about two words per tag.
Unwanted CR: As said above, no romance, so no purple lightning for him right now. Let's get him to a point where normal physical contact doesn't make him flinch away or feel like it's burning his skin first.

Monthly Pacing: As a general rule, I'm a slow bean. I work in hospitality, and tourist season is Officially Here. Saturdays and Sundays are definite no-go times, but I'm free early - mid week.
OOC Limitations/Disinterests: Not interested in playing out violent CR or negative CR that doesn't go anywhere. I'm also on hold with any possibilities with romantic for the time being. Kieren's both dealing with loss and not mentally in a place to consider it.

Current Mindset/Health: Stressed, depressed and half-deceased. He's wary of this place and what people are going to think of him/react to him. He's stressed over making sure he has his crucial daily medicine to keep him going, and terrified of what could happen if he runs out.
Trial Accomplishments:
— purple lighting this would be putting Kieren dangerously out of his comfort zone by being physically affection with someone else, considering being physically close to him will prompt questions. i don't want him being completely open just yet, and thinks he'll kind of brush things off/admit to being a bit weird re: body temperature. only interested in platonic stuff, ty!
— red lighting i'm not 100% how to play about with this, but i'd like to play with something along the lines of how many people back home see Kieren as a monster, nothing more than a mindless killing thing. I think I could have him just generally destroying shit, acting very senseless (maybe trying to attack wildlife or people?). It'll probably be pretty obvious Something Is Wrong Here. He won't be particularly eloquent in this form, mostly just snarling and growling but maybe some basic words might come out for the sake of working with the prompt. But bringing him back to 'you're not a mindless monster, you're kieren' would be A++
Additionally, I'm cool with having him being there to talk it out with someone else who's affected with the red lighting!
Trial Failures: Kieren is... probably certainly a bit of a damsel here, and probably feeling way out of his depth. Please come save him.
Wanted CR: I'm pretty much down for anything, and throwing people together to see what happens. I haven't played Kieren in a game before so I'm excited to see him interacting with lots of different people! FRIENDS!!! Please give this boy some friends. Maybe any spooky/supernatural/not quite human sorts. He'd be delighted if he every found someone who's also undead. People who struggle with MH/PTSD to kind of talk things over/bond with them. People around his own age (he is stuck at 18) to kind of work on some banter-CR. Younger people he can very gently big brother.
Unwanted CR: Mostly anything-romance/sexual related. Kieren's dealing with the very recent death of someone he loved romantically, and he's also not mentally in a place to think about it, considering... zombie.
