Trial Consequences & Continuing Effects

Over the last month, Folkmore experienced:

Trial by train: physical, mental, and emotional trials to reach Jewelia in the front.

These led to the following lasting consequences:

Some Star Children have whistles that let them teleport onto the train. Yes, right in front of your salad.

Iteration Iteration

Thirteen's iteration Kuma Lisa starts to lead Folkmore. Star Children can tell by the drizzly weather and an interlibrary loan system that means Star Children can pick up books from any library at Kuma Lisa Academy's library.

Star Children may contact Kuma Lisa via picking up books or asking for recommendations from her in the library. Alternatively, order a drink from her and strike up a conversation at the lonely bar.

Weather & New Environmental Effects

While February might make a lot of folks think snow, currently in Folkmore the latter half of February and early March is ... wet. Almost as if making up for monsoon season taking the water from so many places, a perpetual drizzle reigns supreme in all regions. Even Wintermute is drizzly; the difference is that it's an unpleasant hint of wintry mix rather than straight rain. Greener biomes also experience an increase in humidity and general mugginess, but Exile and Cruel Summer are spared.
There is a mudslide in Exile the first week of March. It's a literal mud slide - like a Slip n Slide, but it's mud, and it's ten feet wide and a mile long. Yes, it has a track. Yes, you can ride in it for fun for as long as velocity takes you.
On February 28th at 11:01 am, there is a double rainbow over the nearest water. This means a body of water nearest the viewer, meaning that if you're in Wintermute it's the snow, and if you're in Cruel Summer it's your glass of water. It has a tiny double rainbow.

Game Feedback: Mod Post

Events will be getting more intense, especially mingles.
More lore will be revealed regularly.
Folkmore will get a new region in the latter half of 2025.
Info pages will be getting updated, and new ones may be made. Volunteer to help!
The game will not advertise, but players can look for castmates/CR.

Mod Updates

Fii and Mey have left the mod team.
Akai has joined the app team and Lunare has joined the spoons team to help with timely apps and spoon purchases. We welcome them to this new modling team!
