Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, and remind our players of upcoming dates!
Upcoming weather and information for April - May
🦊 The sun has returned to Wintermute, though the days are short and somewhat overcast. Sunshine also doesn't stop snow, with the temperatures being warm enough to sustain precipitation—that is to say, it continues to hover around freezing. The snow is spreading out into the rest of Folkmore, so everywhere except Cruel Summer will be getting occasional blasts of wet wintry chill from the sky.
🦊 But it's otherwise a normal, as-anticipated, April in the rest of Folkmore ... excepting the fog, which keeps turning up, and an increasingly speedy wind. The risk of falling off Never Fade increases for the next couple of days, and it's not hard to notice goats grabbing people and pulling them back from dangerous edges. It's transitional weather anywhere that's temperate, with some of the areas experiencing spring and some in autumn as the seasons prepare to switch in extremes at the June solstice.
🦊 Back in Tides, the sharks—formerly known as lonely, now much better socialized and healed—can now be spotted as permanent residents. If you were one of the Star Children to help them, those particular sharks will recognize you and offer the occasional ride, chat, or meal delivery.
🦊 Oh, yes, and Never Fade will be taking its spring migration on 16 April, meaning it will be gone from the skies of Folkmore until sometime in May (the spirits either don't know or won't say when). All of Folkmore's natives act as if everyone should have already known this would happen.
