Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, and remind our players of upcoming dates!
Setting Information for March-April
🦊 The dominant iteration for this month is Thoth; enjoy the science fair and the snow.
🦊 No, really, enjoy the snow and other storms … expect some wintry storms throughout March all across Folkmore. Sometimes there are tiny snowstorms that are contained within a seven foot tall cyclone, and sometimes suddenly there are two feet of snow everywhere, and then two days later it's just fog. You will want sunscreen on your face, and maybe a pair of shades, because that glare can be harsh.
🦊 Occasionally, fur falls from the sky. The thunder in the warmer climes, which have rain rather than snow, sometimes sounds like roaring … and some of the snow looks like wool. This unusual tendency ends in April, and will be replaced by petals falling from the sky amongst the rain.
🦊 On 24th March, for just the one day, no matter where one is, there will always be a distant smell of sweet baked or baking goods. It is an appealing smell that will adjust to whatever sweet pastry smell is a character's favorite. (This need not be a very sweet thing, but it is notably sweet and not savory!)
🦊 Wintermute has a few trees here and there start to grow "leaves" that are miniature ice sculptures of leaves rather than actual leaves. But they're growing from the trees, so ... maybe they ARE actual leaves that just look like ice? Sap ice leaves? The answer is really "all of the above".

🦊 The event is up and underway, and the test drive continues! Keep checking both throughout the month for new TLs to hit up, as not everyone is on plurk or in the discord! Nothing in Folkmore ever closes until it's replaced, so you can go back to TFLN too, if you want.
