White Elephant Signup

The Steves (pursuitofcappiness & mightysmall) are hosting a Holiday Party (IC on Dec 5th) that includes a White Elephant exchange. Everyone is invited, and if you would like your character to participate in the exchange, please fill out this form (also linked at the end)! There is no minimum spend and hand-made gifts are encouraged. A maximum spend is fifty spoons, and though we don't expect you to actually spend your OOC spoons on a gift to exchange, please check out the spoons page to see what level of gift is appropriate.

How the exchange works IC is that everyone brings a wrapped gift and then select numbers for the order that they will pick a gift in. Each person in order will select either a gift from the center table, or, has the ability to steal a gift that was already selected. If your gift is stolen, you may in turn steal a gift (though you may not steal back the gift that was just stolen) or select from the table. At the very end, everyone opens their wrapped gifts to reveal what was inside.

How this will work OOC is that we will assign you a gift after the signups are closed. You're welcome to play out any of the exchanges or IC fights over the gifts, but for simplicity the gift your character ends up with will be the one that is assigned.

Apologies for taking so long to get back to this question. We're trying to communicate over international timezones and travel plans.

We're going to say no to sneaking one in however if you'd like to come up for an IC reason why your character missed the White Elephant or want to plan something OOC with one of the other players whose characters plan to come to the party, that's totally cool.
