❥ You must be invited to our game in order to reserve/apply. You do not need to reserve to apply, but you cannot apply as a character that has been reserved. Invites and reserves do not guarantee acceptance.

❥ The first two sections of the application (Character Information and Folkmore Roles & Attributes) must be publicly visible in your character's journal after acceptance. Check out an info post code here.

❥ No challenge apps. This operates on a first-come, first-serve basis.

❥ If you have been swept due to inactivity, you must wait for one application cycle before reapplication. This may vary depending on possible pattern behavior. We reserve the right to request proof from players we feel may be squatting.

❥ Revision requests will be for clarification, too few/many words, missing parts or lack of permissions post. If your application has all of these issues it may be declined for the current application cycle.

❥ Upon having an invitation, there is no limitation on characters per player but you can only apply 3 per cycle.

❥ If you have dropped entirely from the game, you will need to be invited back in to reapply.

❥ Make sure you have a permissions post public when you apply. Please make sure you mention what you are comfortable and uncomfortable interacting with. For more information on what permissions are and what we expect, see this link.

❥ For clarification on applicable characters and other information, check out our FAQ.

❥ All applications should have responses by the 12th of every month at the latest. Please feel free to nudge us if you have not received a reply by this date. Similarly, if you are having trouble getting into communities after acceptance, please let us know.

Application Explained
❥ Character Information
Character Name: Whatever your character canonically goes by.
Character Age: Literal age, and, if applicable, what age they appear as. Please clarify if mental/chronological/physical age differ.
Character Species: Human/Robot/Alien/etc. Include unique traits in this part such as "Na'vi - she is very tall compared to humans with blue skin and a tail that she can use to communicate to nature around her."
Current Health: Alive, dead, injured? If injured how will they appear in game?
Outfit: Characters enter this world wearing whatever they had on from their canon point. Let us know what that is. Weapons cannot be included. Medical aid such as glasses, canes, prosthetics, etc can be included.

Character Canon: Name of canon / or "Original" for original characters
Link to History: If there is not a thorough history, you may write a draft up here. Please briefly explain the canon's world and then your character's general involvement in it. Do not exceed 500 words.
Canon Point: Must be at least 30 days old by the time you apply.
Canon Iteration: Original canon, canon alternate, aged, CRAU
Canon Iteration Explanation: If canon AU, CRAU, or aged, let us know what key differents are present for this version of the character such as experiences or the prominent differences between this version of the character vs the original. Do not exceed 400 words.


❥ Folkmore Roles & Attributes

Skills: Things that they are good at. Should be short & sweet. This should be learned skills and not abilities. Can be bullet points.
Canon Abilities: Any canon abilities they have. No need to get complex/give backstories. Just a general gist of how their abilities work. You may provide links if your canon has power wikis.
Role: Which role will you put them in?
Role Qualities/Attributes: What will they manifest as this role?
Role Reasoning: Why are you picking this role for your character? What are your general plans concerning this? 100-200 words.


❥ Personality

Please choose one of the following options for your personality section:

Option 1. Summarize your character's personality in general, what their full potential would look like to them, what they would be willing to go through to meet that potential, and what gaining that potential would mean to them. 400-800 word requirement.

Option 2. Choose FOUR-FIVE of the following questions to answer and expand upon. Each answer has a 100-300 word requirement.

Option 2 questions (4-5). 100-300 word limit each:

❥ What was the most traumatic experience your character endured? How did this change them?

❥ What experience challenged your character's core beliefs? How did they handle this or change from it?

❥ What is the most important and defining relationship(s) in your character's life and why?

❥ What is a headcanon (or two) you feel strongly about and that you prefer playing your character with? How is this supported in canon and why do you think it benefits the character's story?

❥ What is your character's moral code? Do they have one? Why or why not?

❥ What are your characters dreams and nightmares? Do you believe they are more likely to obtain one rather than the other?

❥ If you could give your character a Taylor Swift playlist, which songs would be on it and what would they represent about your character?

❥ What does your character feel like they struggle with still? Where could they improve? This could be physically, mentally, emotionally, or otherwise.

❥ Is your character capable of forgiveness or will they hold a grudge until they die? Would anything ever make them change their mind?

❥ If your character could change one thing about their past, what would it be and why? Or why not?

❥ What is your character's safespace? When do they feel the most settled and comfortable? When do they feel confident and relaxed?

❥ What would your character sacrifice to get what they want or to reach their potential? What have they sacrificed already?

❥ What famous folklore, legend, or myth would you associate your character with? Are they literally inspired by Snow White? Do they have similar struggles or energy as Red Riding Hood?

❥ Which Taylor Swift era is your character going through right now and why?

❥ What is a time where your character failed drastically at something and how did it impact them, what did they do about it?

❥ Permissions

OOC opt-outs: What limits, content, and subjects you, as the player, don't wish to have mentioned, tag, or play out?
IC opt-outs: What limits, content, and subjects you do not wish your character to be involved with?
Content warnings related to the character: What content related to your character’s world and personal history might other people want warnings for or not to mention, tag, or play out?
Sensitive subjects related to the character: What actions, content, or subjects would cause a negative reaction from your character?
