The Undying live in service to the Phoenix, and the Phoenix lives in service to Rosaria and her people, but were the dominant of the Phoenix ever to turn away from their duties, it could mean terrible things. I feel fairly confident that I will be the last Phoenix, but it does concern me at times to think of what the Undying may do once we are gone. To lose one's purpose in its entirety is a devastating thing.
