Drop

[ Full Navigation ]

We are sorry to see you go! We hope you enjoyed your time in Folkmore. Be aware that if you drop entirely (all characters) from Folkmore you will need to be invited back in.

Please let us know you are dropping in the appropriate section below so we can process your drop.

When a character is dropped, the character will become stardust and return to space. It is unknown if the characters goes home or if they go elsewhere in the universe.

Characters will know when a character has been dropped. They will see their close CR appear to them as a stardust-type ghost, waving, before they vanish. Alternatively, they will see that their Foxi profile is no longer accessible.

Hiatus

Characters on hiatus have two options: they can either go about their daily lives or fall into a deep coma, their bodies shining like starlight, suspended in the air.

We do not allow hiatuses with an estimated period of 3+ months. If you frequently take hiatuses and spend more time on hiatus than in the game, we may ask you to drop until things have cleared up. This is in fairness to other players. We are always willing to make accommodations for unique exceptions: please just let a mod know either on this page or privately.

If on hiatus, the player will not have to check in manually; the mods will take care of it.

Please let us know you are going on a hiatus in the appropriate section below.

(frozen comment) Update

Player: Alicia
Character Name: Clark Kent/Superman
Update Details: Clark will be updated from the end of My Adventures With Superman Season 1 to the end of Season 2.

Three months have passed since the end of the first season, and Clark's relationship with Lois has progressed. While planning their first Valentine's Day as a couple, he's plagued with dreams about his biological father, Jor-El. After learning that his spaceship has crashed in Antarctica, Clark, along with Lois and Jimmy, go to explore it and run into Amanda Waller's Task Force X, who are also looking for more Kryptonian tech to loot.

After the ship is saved, it turns into a base of operations and the Jor-El hologram is too damaged to continue operating. The hologram gives him a beacon to help him locate the only remaining Kryptonian in the universe, Clark's cousin Kara.

Later, feeling alone and ignored while Lois deals with her fugitive father, Clark activates the beacon, which calls Kara to his location on Earth. While he's at a charity event as Superman, Kara crashes the party and challenges him to a fight, saying that living on Earth has made him weak. The two of them battle across the city until she overpowers him, taking him to her ship.

On the ship, Clark discovers that Kara has lived on it her entire life, with only holograms of dead citizens to keep her company. She's also been raised by Krypton's powerful Brainiac AI, a sentient program that was in charge of the military's battle strategy and plans. Brainiac is continuing the work of the Kryptonian empire by traveling to different planets and demanding their surrender. He brainwashed Kara to believe that he was her actual father, and she was trained to obey whatever he told her to do, including killing all civilizations that refused to submit to their invasion.

Upon discovering that Kal-El (Clark) has abilities much stronger than Kara's, Brainiac abandons her to possess Superman and use him to take over Earth. While Clark's body has been stolen from him, he's cast into a illusion where he never left Krypton and was raised by his biological parents.

Lois is able to penetrate the illusion and frees Clark, who takes back his body and joins forces with Kara to drive Brainiac back from Earth, stopping the invasion. Having nowhere else to go and living with the guilt of wiping out entire planets, Kara accepts Clark's offer to live with him and the two cousins attempt to strengthen their familial bonds.

Physical Changes: Clark got a new suit after the whole ordeal, which looks more armor-like than his original.

Mental Changes: Clark is dealing with the aftereffects of being mind-controlled and having his body used by a genocidal villain. He also suffered emotional trauma from his memories being wiped, and then getting them back at the same time as realizing his life on Krypton was a lie. He covers it up with his usual pleasant demeanor, but in private, he's not okay.

Power Changes: Superman has unlocked a few new powers that were previously unavailable to him, including:
- Ice Breath
- Breathing and talking in space
- A rare ability called Bio-Electric Aura, meaning that he can project an aura around himself and those close to him to form a shield against enemy attacks. When he activates this power, it makes his eyes glow blue and electricity form around him.
