Mod Announcement

Hello Folkies!

It's Milk here! I just wanted to make a formal announcement that I am hanging up my mod reigns for the time being. To those of you I have known since Deerington, thank you for making my mod journey so incredible over the years. To those of you I have only just met through Folkmore, thank you for making my last few months of modding an absolute dream! Truthfully, I'm just a bit burnt out! Maybe one day I'll come back to modding, but for now, I'm kicking it back.

And fear not! The game is not going anywhere! This was an absolute passion project of mine and at this point, I want to hand it off to our existing mod team that I trust to do it justice! They will more formally introduce themselves down below and the Mod Contact page will be updated soon! You can no doubt expect some incredible ideas and events coming your way and I am excited to see them too - from the player's side of things!

Thank you all for understanding! And thank you again for making it an amazing experience. I'll be around for paling it up. But from this point forward, my mod hat is off and my player shades are on. Pls ignore how lame that joke was thanks.

Milk, I have said this again and again but thank you SO much for everything you have done for the game.


SO HELLO EVERYONE I'm Juu and I will be one of the new headmods at Folkmore. This will be the first time I'm modding but thankfully I will have help from Sil and Kit who have more experience (= I'm currently the GMT mod here, so my schedule is interesting for sure, and anyone can find me over my plurk vilani. I do have discord which is vilani#5684 although I'm usually shy. But I don't bite, I promise.

I'm not very good at this, but I do hope the new mod team can keep on making this game fun and interesting to all of you! Any concerns, comments, questions, you can always poke any of us (=

THAT SAID, hi what's up. I'm Mitzy, one of your helper mods. I do some list upkeep, some AC stuff, and I'll be the spoon goblin. I believe most people know this already as I do answer questions in the Discord often, but I'm still Maggie and still a helper. I do applications and questions/faq stuff! I check the questions channel on discord daily and try to drive by the FAQ regularly.

Hello all, I'm Kit! I have been a quiet mod presence helping with apps/lists and running the Discord while working on recovering from severe illness that took me out back in March -- this is why my play presence is never as much as I want it to be, but it's still been more than none! -- and since my health seems to be slowly but surely improving I have accepted one of the new Head Mod hats. I have a lot of experience modding on other RP servers (MU*, forum and LJ) as well as time working for Dreamwidth itself so if it breaks I can probably fix it.

I am a nervous chatterer but am also very shy the mod team is social awkwardness in a trench coat; nonetheless I try to be really approachable! I'm honored to have been asked to take some of the reins, thank you, Milk, for building the world and assembling the game and the team! ♥
