A little silly, yes. Though I am an author- inventing stories in my head about all manner of situations is kind of what I do.
[Makes for the best and worst thoughts. After all, what are what-ifs if not fictional tales thought up about one's own life?]
Regardless, I do apologize for my ignorance at that time. You were still grieving the loss of that other friend of yours, weren't you?
