Where I come from, we were all forced to forget history. We thought we were the only people in the world and that all of humanity had died 100 years before. But Eldians, the people who can become titans, the ones who weren't trapped on our island were treated like shit or like canon fodder.
So the end of that war wasn't what I'd call a good ending.

But war is hell so living without war isn't exactly bad either. Still it's hard to forgive people who take away freedom from others.
