Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, partake in character relationship memes and open up our invites for the upcoming application cycle!

Announcements
We will be holding bi-monthly Texts From Last Night posts on our OOC community. Both players and non-players are welcome to tag into this. Players can use these posts for their spoons and tentative new players can use these posts for samples on their applications. If accepted into the game, you can also use your TFLN posts for spoons!
The upcoming event for July will have an element that will extend between July and August. This will involve characters feeling heavily pressured to gravitate to a unique location known as Camp Camelot located nearby the Lakes in Willow.
This location will not be accessible until the event begins. Characters will be able to go to and from the camp at will but most will feel enormously pressured by the general state of the game to actively attend the camp either as campers or counselors! Most of July and August's events will have to do with the camp, but fear not! There will still be prompts available in both July and August for those who might want to do things beyond the camp.
From July 1st to July 12th, characters throughout Folkmore will be gifted a fox beret with a matching orange Camp Camelot shirt, a pair of orange shorts, an optional clip-on orange fox tail, and some nifty knee-high white socks with orange bands at the top. You will be provided with a set of orange hiking boots that, instead of ridges on the feet, have paw prints. These outfits will appear in a neat pile somewhere in your character's home and will be custom fit to their exact measurements and body types!

Invitations
Our game is invite-only which means in order to make a reserve or apply, you must have an invite from a current player in-game! Players are not required to give invites. Invites are open between the 22nd of every month and close on the 5th of the following month when applications open. All invites expire after that application cycle ends.
Players are limited to one invite per round unless they have purchased an additional invite slot through Spoons. If using an additional invite slot, please make sure to link to your purchase in your invite form.
Invites allow new players to reserve/apply to the game. Invites do not guarantee that new players will get in. Some invites may not be accepted and we will message players on a case-by-case basis if necessary.

Character Details: Vex always wears her dark hair in a braid with 1 blue feather behind her ear. She has her bow and arrows at all times, now that she has them back.
Character Summary: Vex is a ranger/rogue multiclass. A LOT has happened to her, so she has a cautious and pragmatic façade but she's very flirty and friendly for the most part. She prefers forests to towns but she loves shopping and hugging.
Character Role: Legend.
Character Role Deets: She manifest pretty wings and a golden aura
Character Living Quarters: The apartments with her twin brother
Character Schools: Where do they teach or go to school? Nowhere, I should fix this.
Day to Day Life: Vex spends a lot of time in the forest. It's where she feels most comfortable while she's still adjusting. I'm up for changing this if someone can give her something to do.
Current Mindset/Health: She's struggling with some loneliness and needs to fill her days but she's healthy and relatively happy
Recent Developments: Trinket has shown up, thanks to all the craziness of The Wildest Dreams saga, so expect to see her running around with her first child all the time.
Goals For Your Character: I want her to open up a bakery eventually and just enjoy things without stressing out over fighting, dying and meddling deities... So much for the last one, eh?
Problems With Your Character: Again, some loneliness and a little guilt and worry, but for the first time in a while, she feels like she can rest. It's weird.

Wonderful, maybe we can toss them together in the camp kitchens. I have a feeling Yuri might hide there and make some cakes to distract from whatever team building activities they're being asked to participate in.
